You need to hear it live for the full effect - with the crowd chanting stay stay stay and then the end when he makes them sing “now everybody’s DEEEEEAAAAD!” and the passion when he sings “you look so cool”. It’s a whole experience!
@caitbarton46162 ай бұрын
And Matty is a lyrical genius. His brain functions so uniquely. He’s just an average bloke who is having a normal life experience - just in front of a major audience. A lot of his actions are an examination of the human experience in different societal roles (the last tour) and can go over peoples heads. And George as a producer is quite honestly insane. The rabbit hole is real and you won’t ever come out lol

How did I miss this reaction?! Yes, they are life-changingly amazing. And, Matty went to rehab several years ago and has been clean. And you noticed one of the Taylor connections! The other one is where he says “if you never eat you’re never gonna grow.” Think of Taylor saying, “and if you never bleed you’re never gonna grow.” They’ve been singing to each other for ten years. You just have to be a fan of both to catch it. Wait until you watch the connections in some of their music videos. I can’t wait! My favorites are “Part of the band,” “playing on my mind,” and “all I need to hear.”
