Thanks so much, but I assure you that Dillon doesn't have a clue who I am. As I've said elsewhere, I have zero connection to any of the companies whose products I feature. If you enjoyed this, you might also enjoy the review of the Forester Co-Ax press, along with a follow-up video on same. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHbdh42bbMtpfZI Actually, I have to amend that. I did a recent video featuring the Ransom Pistol Rest and the folks at Ransom saw the video and had some nice things to say including that they wanted to show it on their web site. Of course I was happy about that, but that's the only contact I've had with a product maker from one of my videos.

I love reloading. Machinery and cottage industry manufacturing is so awesome. I want one of these presses so damn bad. I wonder if they make one for 6.5 Creedmoor. I wouldn't die without it, because 6.5 is for my bolt gun and I'm not blowing through 6.5 constantly, but it'd be nice to have a neverending supply of 6.5 so I can help people get into the caliber.

When you buy your progressive press, you'll discover that it's more than a reloading machine ... it's a time machine. Here in California, the Democrats have regulated ammo sales, so the only way to keep your freedom is to reload.

Very interesting about the Super 1050. I own an XL650 which is much like the 1050, except I don’t have the bullet-feeder or your $379 primer-filling machine. Nail on the head, Rick. I regularly watch Adam Booth (ABOM79) on KZbin in his machine shop. He often uses a shaper, a very old machine rarely seen these days. He gets criticized for using it rather than more modern vertical or horizontal mills. He answers this by saying, "I love this machine. It brings me pleasure to operate it and see it run. I enjoy everything about it. I'm doing this for my pleasure and not to make money or save time. It's what I like, so get over it." It's all about the journey.

Thanks so much for it! Great video....

You, good sir, are fantastic at explaining the intricacies of this machine. I concur with all those that have said you should be a spokesman of sorts for Dillon. Great voice, perfect delivery, and exceptional camera angles. I have watched many reloading videos, have been reloading for about 5 years (Lee Loaders, Dillon 550, RCBS single stage) and have friends that have multiple machines as well. I learned more about the inner workings by watching this video than I ever have in any of those experiences. Liked and subscribed, appreciate your time and effort.

Good for you. This next comment is strictly anecdotal. The friend I bought my 1050 from also has a couple of 550s and he swears they make the most accurate ammo of all the Dillon presses. At the very least, the 550 doesn't give up anything in terms of quality, just features.

I have watched this video many times and always enjoy it each Time! I have a Dillion 650 set up for 45 acp and just ordered a 750 to leave for 9mm. I don't shoot that much either, but I love quality equipment and the joy of reloading. Thank you for your always wonderful videos! They are always a treat! This machine is a marvel.

Thanks, Robin. I suspect you have revealed the "dirty little secret" of all progressive reloading machines: they are usually dedicated to one caliber.
