10 acres! excellent, get some rocks together for a ground level fire, pits require super dry kindling and/or some sort of oxygen input (underground pipe) again 10 ACRES! , lucky dogs. ps, "trees a crowd" shortened to Camp TAC in the future.
@Shaun-Wilson3 жыл бұрын
Yes, we did take it out of the pit in the end as it wasn't helping at all. We're going to build a propper place, maybe even a raised one if I can figure out a decent way of doing it. 10 Acres, I know! We are so lucky, the land owners are really nice too 🙂👍

@Shaun-Wilson3 жыл бұрын
Hey, I guess it lasts for as long as the land owner allows you to use the land. I'm hoping this will be a long happy relationship with the land owner 🙂👍

Go to see the sleep system worked for you, as discussed on fb a few weeks ago. How did you find the space inside and would you say it was worth what you paid. Already have the same system just want to help ease my conscience when I recommend to other ppl on fb. Congrats on finding a permission, personally I'd call it Campy McCampface but as that's not an option I'll just have to go back and see what the options are again.
@Shaun-Wilson3 жыл бұрын
Hello Gaz, worth every penny! You were right about not being able to use the straps with max, but it didn't matter, theres that much room in that bag that it hardly budget when I was moving possitions. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm made up with it 🙂👍

@@Shaun-Wilson good to know, if you did have issues with sliding there are loops you could attach para cord to I guess but yeah found it didn't want to turn with me when I rolled over.

No streams mate, theres a couple of boggy pools but no good for taking a dunk or drinking. Yea we've already located a tree to make a propper swing on, Amelie will love it 👌

@MetallicrealitE3 жыл бұрын
This may or may not be a weird question but are the "girth" measurements on your sleeping bag actual size of the bag or based on the size of the human in it? What size is yours? and, if you wouldn't mind getting out the tape measure, could you please, please, please put me out of my misery and tell me what it actually measures across the shoulders, hips and knees. I have spent over a week researching sleepings bags on the internet (determined to get a decent one) and can't seem to get a conclusive answer as to actual dimensions. I need to have a lot of wiggle space and have been in a dilemma as to whether to get the regular or large for longer than is good for my mental health (I am starting to go a little nuts now).
@Shaun-Wilson3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, its all tooled away at the moment, but I can confirm it is absoloutly massive inside. I've gone for the Long version because I'm 6'3" and the length is very good. The W.A.R.M system stands for With Additional Room for Multiple possitions (i know, shit anagram 😂), and there certainly is. I've been able to toss and turn without it twisting with me 🙂👍
@MetallicrealitE3 жыл бұрын
@@Shaun-Wilson Nice one mate, cheers, thats awesome, I have been leaning towards the long one but mainly for the extra width than length :)
