Hey mate, I was toying with the idea of bringing my passion (cars) over to KZbin. I may end up doing it at some point, but its unlikely now.

😂😂😂 it's tongue in cheek, I never wanted to reveal the locations and them get destroyed by fly campers. Obviously outdoorsy people will know where I was 😄👍

Delemere Forest mate. Fat chance of wild camping there unfortunately, it's way too developed and full of people. Great for a chill for a couple of hours

It would be easy to criticize certain decisions here (flying in rain / dropping into concrete hole where there can't be any control etc etc) but it's great to have examples of these things online as cautionary tales for the rest of us, and it certainly makes for exciting video :) It's really hard to fly up the inside of towers and down plugholes even if you can maintain signal, and fairly sure those concrete round structures do weird things with GPS reflection and ghosting, which makes them go drifty. I had exactly that behaviour flying up a ruined tower a few years ago and haven't done it since !

Way brighter than you would imagine... however, at the time, between figuring out how to navigate a new hobby of creating youtube videos as a new hobby, then add in using brand new tech... I had a brain fart and it became my highest viewed video 🤷♂️ What have you done on a whim mate? 😂

I HAVE A MINI 2 THAT HAS A SHAKEN IMAGE IN SOME TAKES, I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED THE ORIGINAL PROPELLER, CALIBRATED IT AND IT DIDN'T HELP IT. MY SHOCK ABSORBERS ARE NOT BROKEN. DO YOU THINK IT COULD BE WEAR AND WEAR? DO YOU BELIEVE THAT IF I REPLACE THEM IT WILL SOLVE IT OR DO YOU KNOW IF THE WORN RUBBERS COULD BE CAUSING THE SHAKE (GELATIN)? THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.

I came across your video and I was looking at this reservoir on Google Maps and noticed that there's a 'no drones' sign. I thought I'd look for a video on KZbin to see if anyone else has flown here, and here I am. According to Drone Assist, it is fine to fly drones around the lake. I know that landowners, companies, etc like to put up no drone signs just for the sake of it. I will be taking a trip up there when the weather improves. Awesome video by the way.
@Lorenzo_Velasquez9 ай бұрын
Hi, I saw the same signs, free zone on my app too, spoke to a ranger and he said that drones are free to fly there :)

Great review! Thank you. Subbed. I’m 6”3’ too, and taking baby steps in to wild camping. Finding it tough to find a (real) 3 seasons bag that i can be confident is long enough without being too heavy or unpackable, that won’t break the bank. Will check out snugpak. Any others I should look at? Thanks!

I know this video is old but if you replace these you need to calibrate it with python (there are videos on this).
@DrMarvinLara Жыл бұрын
All you had to do was recalibrate the IMU in the settings on the app, THEN you calibrate the gimbal in the app

I've been using the DD hammock set up for the past 4 years now, and can't fault it. A nice little addition is the DD Magic Carpet, which is a small tarp that you set up on the ground, underneath your hammock...great for laying the rest of your gear on, keeping clean getting in/out of hammock, and a dry area to do your cooking

Great vid. I’d recommend cutting down on the biners maybe just put one at each end of the tarp and feed the ridge line through the middle holes. It’ll cut down on weight but most importantly it’ll make your tarp taut
