I feel bad for 13 (Mantra) in game 1. Getting killed as evil for the wrong reasons is always such a feel bad moment. At least if you were good, they'd realise that they made a mistake. But if you're evil, they'll either continue believing that their reasoning was sound, or on rare occasions, realise that they made a mistake, but won't really care because it got an evil out anyways. It's just really infuriating.

I had a deputy game in classic where someone wasn’t talking, so I messaged them asking their role and they responded “tk” (and RT was already dead) and I thought they meant town killing so I shot them…. They in fact meant tavern keeper, and they were also in fact tavern keeper… 😂😭

That has been a common problem I've seen. I feel like taven keepers should abbreviate to "tav" or "tavern" instead of TK which is already used

Just a bad play. It didn't really matter wether the target was evil or good. People would have 1f1 either way and because exe exists the accuser usually gets voted first.

One thing that I hope we can try out soon is a theoretical way to stay alive as a solo PM. I sort of had this working in a game I tried but I died to bad luck. Basically, if you are solo PM you can make it very hard to be found sus. Here is the plan: Use a reveal potion on people who haven't claimed (or who you might reasonably think are sus) and make yourself a perfect sheriff will. Trackers will see you visit who you claim to, sheriffs will see you as NS, Invest will see no blood since you won't be killing, etc etc. Go full deep into the sheriff claim, and literally just play like a sheriff. Since you are getting people's true roles you will confirm yourself by lynching evils and confirming townies. Even if it isnt a full confirm, townies will still trust you if you dont push on to them, say they are inno, and find lots of evils. Don't klll, make them think no coven is left. Strategy is weak to Psy and Trapper, who I believe will still find you evil / as your real role, and a Crus will still kill you. Beyond that however, I think this strategy can get you super confirmed and you can let NK's and townies lynch everyone. You will look super confirmed especially as the game goes on, and you might even get knighted or a TP to be on you. OFC you could still die to Dep, Pros, etc but you could die to those anyways so it doesnt really matter. Playing like this ensures there is almost always someone more sus than you are. Might be a neat thing to try out, let me know what yall think

dude. this happened to me too! Day 1 arsonist said "I'm arso" with his name being "arsonist" I was prosecutor and I was like "bet." shot them day 2. easy win. its easier to punish evils who openly claim like that. I'm thinking the tactic is going to die really quick if evils keep doing it.

Afaik, Exe just selects who they want to target for the following day phase, not actually visit. But correct me if I'm wrong.

its all any so theres the chance of 14 town and only 1 coven, the thing is there is the same amount of coven roles as there is of town roles, since they merged coven and mafia together and just added more coven roles in order to make the coven more diverse. So its just unlikely for a game of 15 players to not have 4 coven

There seems to be quite good change of less than 4 coven. Last 4 games of coven I got 2 times just 2 members, once 3 and once all 4. Though RNG is always a factor in this.

I wholeheartedly believe prosecutor should be changed to not instantly guilty someone when prosecuted, but instead require less of a majority (maybe only 30%) to get lynched, and then maybe it's ability uses could be raised to 3. That way, it would be different to deputy.

the difference is Deputy still can't kill a player that has too high of defense (powerful attack loses to invincible defense), meaning its useless against Neutral Apocalypse. Prosecutor also can do their ability twice and since its a lynch, it works on everyone. That's already a huge difference between how they play

I got a question if anyone could answer please. I was playing as Coven Leader with the Necronomicon for the first time in ToS 2 and apparently I was able to empower my offense or defense (which I realised only after I died) Had I empowerd my attack would've I been able to kill an SK? (Since we had a Townie, Deputy, 2 SKs and me the CL alive; 1 SK killed townie, second SK killed the first SK, I hit the second SK but didn't kill him, ended up with Deputy SK and CL and we coinflipped)

Yeah, like oak said, you need to specify role for town, but there's a button for coven, neutral evil, neutral Apocalipse and neutral killing, so you don't have to guess the role for evils, just allignement.

Town had absolutely no chance in that 2nd game even if no one left, 2 coroners, an invest, and a retri were all useless roles. monarch, mayor and pros had no one to get info from to make plays with. Their only real hope was evils self destructing.

Pros gets 2 I think? But also that after the hang it becomes night, whereas after deputy shot the day continues. Deputy also deals a powerful attack whereas Pros is an automatic lynch

dep can only use their ability once while the pros can do it twice in a game, but the other difference is that the pros ability ends the day, while the dep ability still allows you to hang another person, allowing the town to maybe kill 2 evils in a single day
