I finally got the last card I needed in Marvel Snap, The Sentry! This lockdown deck seemed like a cool way to utilize him, and it surprised me by being a totally okay and capable deck, not just a meme!

I think destroyer is an underrated card in this kind of deck with armor you can have a lane with sentry + demon + armor/professor x then use destroyer to surprise swing on your opponent

33:05 you make a good point about aero and prof x beam. I like move decks and I found it annoying how heimdal doesn’t move cards another lane over if prof x is there. Just nothing happens. Aero should be the same thing and nothing happens I think.

At 29:15, Shang-Chi first removes 4 power (2 Rocks x Mystique), but Shang-Chi second actually removes 9 power (1 silenced Onslaught x Mystique), so Shang-Chi second was technically better (even if it's admittedly not as dramatic looking).

Funny that you're talking about Galactus... I just got him the other night, and was NOT doing very well with him. Overall, I only lost 2 levels since the reset, but I just couldn't get back to 50. I made ONE CHANGE, and that was throwing Adam Warlock in, and in less than 2hrs... I went from 48 to 71! So many 8-Cube games. I think it's my Rank/CL, though... People at a similar rank almost never see him coming.

I was just thinking that Sentry could be so fun; but is wholly dependent on the right location, and lo and behold 19:38 Sanctum Sanctorum appears on the right. Unless there's a specific thematic reason why the Void has to go on the right only, it could go to the location right of Sentry (like Klaws effect) giving you more chances to win "Bar With No Name" or work around bad locations.

@23:47 is prof X not just a better spiderman on this turn, or is there something I'm overlooking? Serious question, trying to learn. My thought process is prof X plays around more things (like Doom, Magneto, etc) for the same power and effect

youre actually right, yes, but watching it myself i didnt think of it either. I think regis was just focussed on playing the spiderman because he first thought about doing it mid (in theory spiderman would be better because you can still play something into it on the last turn but on the left it just didnt apply)

With your Galactus comment, I completely agree. I don’t see how Galactus is any good for climbing ranks. Almost every game I see Galactus played ends with me leaving or them leaving without snapping. Galactus plays are so easy to tell. It’s never a surprise so I don’t get how anybody is getting cubes with it.

People kind of dumb is how I climbed with Galactus. You'd figure Doc Ock ripping big stuff out of their hand and then Galactus destroying them would make people retreat but often they never did.

Titles definitely feel very underwhelming. Just like avatars and card backs, they only serve as vanity items, but because you can only catch a glimpse of them in-game, they barely have any value. I wouldn't mind if titles were given for achievements, because then they'd actually hold meaning instead of being an arbitrary result of cache pulls.

Titles are the worst thing in the game. And the fact that they are dropped from caches make it even worse. I would rather have 25 credits than a title.
