Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. I've been thinking of an Arsonist rework since you said the role is so strong in All Any and I remember it being not that good in Ranked - Arsonist no longer passively douses visitors unless he stays at home - When igniting, anyone visiting an ignited target also dies - Witch's barrier prevents the first basic attack or douse (instead of strictly the first basic attack) - Bodyguard redirects the attacker's attack onto himself, i.e. when fighting off an Arsonist he will get doused instead of dying Goals are to remove the negative synergy between Arsonist and Witch, add more depth and tradeoffs to the Arsonist's gameplan, and add more counterplay against an Arsonist by avoiding visits on a particular crucial night

1 more idea, if BG fights off arso, arso gets doused. Either delays ignite a day or can kill arso in a multi arso game.

It’s really funny that I get usually trusted as a sheriff claim. Even when I am an exe or evil, if they don’t give a good answer I get trusted. I’m also surprisingly good at reading people so it makes it more believable

I had a funny SK game the other day. I claimed SK d1 & told everyone d1 those who fail to claim d2 will be visited by me, I set up my death note to reflect my d1 threat, basically claim or die. N2 comes around & I visit/kill a silent non-claimer who turned out to be a forger. N3 I visit/kill another silent non-claimer who was a necro. N4 I visit/kill a LO who had not posted any will all game. D5 comes & the game ends with only 2 people alive, myself and the pirate. The Pirate managed to get his win at the last moment. It was hilarious though, I claimed SK d1 as a legit SK & the only person who mentioned lynching me was on d4 & it was the HM when he was on the stand still sticking to his fake claim even though there was no point.

That bit about finding people sus n1… is kinda funny to me considering what I’ve done today kekw I faked Sheriff as Arso - called framer sus, while acting chaotic Next game, Pb! Same thing expect I called the PM and Necromancer suspicious night 1 and night 2. Great fun being a chaotic person…

i keep getting sk, not killing all game, claiming sheriff, and somehow getting away with it. there was only an invest who checked me one game, and they couldn’t push me up, died the next day to a different killing role.

Lol I was the Vampire that got staked on N1. The CL witched me into the VH that night. I waited to see if there was a medium before leaving so I could let town know there was a CL. I remember wanting to convert the Griffins and I went on 7

A good exe play I did was i claimed Sheriff. Day 2 called my target sus because I got the achievement for finding an sk. They got lynched I got my win

That first gaem? Those people can be reported for pushing you because of your name Pipe. It's the same as lyching someone for their In-Game Skin.

It sounds a little dumb that lynching for their name is reportable, especially when the rules don't explicitly state that. Although apparently it is, as there is a discussion saying that it's considered harassment, even if it doesn't succeed. That seems a bit of an extreme label though for something that might not even be targeted, like suggesting to lynch the default names. I can understand the skins though, which they also give it's own entire category in the rules section.

@@PopeMical Well think of it this way. Lets say you are confirmed Mayor and they lynch you because of your name, 8 games later they still constantly attempt to or succeed in lynching you for your name. That is considered harrassment.

​@@landmine121 That's VERY different than what I was complaining about. What you described is repeated attempts over multiple games. Of course that's harassment. What I described is how their stance is that *any* attempt to lynch for a name is considered harassment. A stance which isn't listed anywhere in the rules and only stated a few times on Twitter or in Steam discussions. I find that stance to be dumb. I just don't think a single instance of someone suggesting to lynch for a name is harassment. I see it more of an evil using dumb reasons to distract town.

If you are fine with some dead Vampires yes. You just need to rig it so no vampire hunter and you can fill the role list with 6 Town, 4 vampire, and a mix of surv/amne for the last 5. Just hang a vampire when full to contine converting

Tbh I think town was kinda screwed even if they lynched 1 over 14, as the consort wouldn't become mafioso and roleblocked and killed 15 with the gf, not exactly the best scenario l. Still played well in both of those games
