love the chill vibes! for the filling of the whole screen you could go the Border route, get an image to fill the black space under your facecam, like some sims official art or something

I use to have The Sims Full House pack (all of the expansions) and I got soo excited when I FINALLY got a version fully working on my laptop. So I feel your excitement and I love how there is another creator that is going back to sims 1. Keep up the good work!

Seriously, thank you SO much! I can't even tell you how reassuring this is for me. 🥹 🩷 Because for the most part I am pretty chill unless I'm actually stressed out. And I can't just "turn it on" like a lot of people I see making content. And so I worry that I might come across as kind of boring. Thank you for your kind words. They are very much appreciated. And uploads may be a bit slow for a bit but there will definitely be more coming 😊

Hey GG JoJo! My wife has been trying to make the game run on her Windows 11, but Sims 1 won't launch through the launcher. How'd you make it work? Could you share some resources so I can surprise her with her game working without problems?

@Demerits981 Aw, that would be the best surprise! Oh my goodness, yes! I would love to help with this! It's been an extreme uphill battle, let me tell ya... And it would have been nice if the answers were easier to find. I tried so many different things that took hours and hours of trial and error and it just never panned out. It was my boyfriend that eventually figured it out. For right now (because my boyfriend is at work), all I can tell you is that it works through a program called Oracle VM VirtualBox. So, that program is essentially the older version of Windows and it launches the game through that. Like an old computer in your computer? Virtual old computer? Lol That's a stupid way of explaining it but I'm not super tech savvy. Please look that program up and see if you can find some walkthroughs and if you're still struggling just message back here and I'll have my boyfriend try to explain where exactly he found everything and how to set it up. If that doesn't work, I will see if he can teach me how to set it up from start to finish and I can try my best to do a video on that. I wish you much luck!! Please let me know how it goes 🙂

I'm sorry I forgot to update on this! My boyfriend spent like 20 min typing out on here trying to explain how we got the Sims 1 working and KZbin took it down immediately. Found out from watching another creator who made a video explaining how to get it working got their video taken down for legal reasons because of teaching ppl how to bootleg the game. 🙁

Yes! I was so annoyed because I thought my only hurdle was that I needed a CD drive. Found a CD drive on Amazon, installed the game and then the real battle began! Lol
