Made this upgrade right after getting the boat 3 years ago. Couple times a year, spray the internals of it down with some WD-40 or gun oil & it'll last a very long time. Like anything mechanical, preventive maintenance is the key to longevity.

Great Upgrade to Boat Buckles! Love Mine!! Also Mark, You might want to consider upgrading your single leaf springs to the 3 leaf springs, as I have also done that for less than 100 bucks..1500lb capacity on each side!! Much safer and rides a ALOT Better!! Keep up the Awesome Videos!! 👌

Through my research the springs rust and brake leaving you without the return coil.

Did them the first week, used them gift card funds. You can adjust the lights to give you more space. Slide the lights out a bit and it makes it easier to use.
