this almost made me cry. I miss this so much. Goddamn what I would do to bring us back together to these times. I grew up skateboarding on a 50x50 concrete slab in the middle of rural Texas. We built our rails out of door hinges and wood. I thought it was magic with your feet. The same as a magician. Nobody knew how it worked until you did it and showed them the physics. Visiting skateparks hours away. Making the best friends ever. One that I've known for over 20 years. We started together and did everything together. We still skate to this day. I am now limiting myself to 3 stairs lol. Nothing like the early 2000s for the revitalization of skateboarding

Some of these tricks boggle my mind. We had kicks and heels, nollies and so on, but so much of this is slightly beyond my comprehension, because I never did them.
