Absolutely Fantastic. Something that I would like to have in my home as well. Would you be open to sharing the dimensions of the cabinet (height, width, especially where the USTP sits). Thx.

Both wearing masks...that's a good thing!...However, they are not covering the nose, which is where any dust or viruses would enter. Cover the nose part...is the whole point of using a mask.

He said 450 euro in 2020, custom designed by a local carpenter; google “It had to be done!Made my own UST projection cabinet!” for the blog with more info in the comments there.

Hi awesome would you be willing to make and sell? If its in parts I can attach them this side so its easier to ship :) you could make insane money selling these and letting people build the parts like any normal furniture they get. You'll have to provide screws etc.

There's a serious problem with UST projectors... It's impossible to figure out where and how to put a center channel speaker around it. If you put it below, sound travels and bounces off the floor, not ideal. Might be able to put it above the UST, but it has to be a small speaker for it not to block lasers, but then the sound will travel over the UST projector and get resonance issues (not sound as clear). If you mount a UST projector on the ceiling (not what it's designed for) than you can't use an ALR screen. There's no good solution to integrate big sound with a big picture of a UST projector. At the very least, UST projector manufactures need to design these projectors for the internal speakers have the ability to be used as a center channel speaker and have speaker wire +/- inputs for home movie theater enthusiasts to consider a UST projector. Not to mention a custom cabinet is going to be needed as well, such as this one. But I'm confused, I see 3 receivers in this cabinet, but not one speaker in the video where a UST projector is visible, do you use the internal speakers of the projector while watching the big picture?
@KimmoJaskari Жыл бұрын
If you go all in on an install and can install in the wall and not just on it, you can use an acoustically transparent screen and put all the speakers behind it. That's the best way to solve it with traditional projectors also. But how to place a center certainly is something to take into account before starting an install. Installing the projector and screen a bit higher and aiming the center up a little might be good enough.

The laser will not be blocked if center channel is placed above the ust on the wood perch I made a similar cabinet with walnut but using the spectra motorized tray and I have plenty of clearance for a center channel or good soundbar like the senheiser ambeo or Samsung q900c
