I'm really starting to appreciate how Narrator Paul mocks and teases Chef Paul but doesn't go overboard and congratulates him when he fixes his mistakes and does it right. It's a nice change of pace from the usual self-deprecating humor.

The intros keep getting better like damn! gyudon alongside oyakodon are one of the easiest to cook japanese meals that I know that are so good that just makes you go UMAI!

So I found your channel somewhat recently and it got me back into really watching anime. I saw this video and it made me want to watch Demon Slayer, and excited to see Rengoku. Then I saw Mugen Train and first few minutes decided "this is one of my favorite characters now." Then I finished the movie and still haven't recovered.

I remember when I made Kinnikuman style Gyudon for my final in culinary arts, had to use pork instead of beef though because every student had to use a different protein since our finals would also be served to people who came for lunch that day. Definitely going to try and make this gyudon though.

I know I am probably way too late to the party but I've recreated this dish using your video as a guide. While I very much LOVED all the flavors the meat was quite salty. So next time I'll try either adding a bit less soy sauce or low sodium soy sauce to the dish. However this is a great recipe overall and I'd definitely recommend everyone to try it themselves.

I bought an Asian scallion (giant green onion) and cut them at a 45 degree angle and pan fried them in salt until the middle got softer. It really added something to the bento. 🤤

I know it's not authentic to the original dish... but any bento that doesn't include a hotdog octopus makes me sad. Every time i get a train bento when visiting japan, i have a small frown on my face -- until i eat the food and remember how good it is despite the lack of processed meat art.

It looks so good. That's the thing I envy Japan for. I would eat bento and street food at least once a week if it existed in my country. How much can you cut the sugar from the Teriyaki sauce ? I try to cut as much sugar as possible for health reason.
