As someone who is completely F2P and who has played since 2020, I can say that the game has a lot of strategic depth. There's a lot of strategy in building your champions, arranging the teams, and even deciding what masteries they get. Although there are "meta" compositions, there are always fundamentally good teams that work (even if they're not as good). The main problem lies in Plarium's massive amount of monetization and their time scheme. The game simply takes a lot of time to do, and even if it's running in the background, you still have to pay attention to it. Part of Plarium monetizing strategy is to make things take so long to progress that you buy resources just to progress faster. Definitely watch some of the start guides by people like Ash (though I don't know if he still does Raid) along with Hell Hades (and others). They have really good guides for how to just start out. For instance, take the Clan boss. You "generally" want 1 healer, 1 defender/tank, 1 debuffer, and 2 DPSers. You want someone who will keep your champions alive (or revive them), you want someone who can reduce the damage the other champions take, you one someone who can put down poisons or HP burn, and then you want two champions who just hit really hard.

you need to gear your ppls, focus on getting your starter to 6star, you dont just need 5 - 4star, theres rares that will do way more than anyone else, like the cold heart you pulled shes top

Ya raid takes time to like, as the start is pretty slow but once you start understanding the mechanics you will actually like the game i know there are a lot of memes but its actually cool the game mechanics are very interesting and you need a lot of knowledge to play it
