EVERYTHING You Need To Know About The Wixwell Infinity Team! | RAID: Shadow Legends

I made the Infinity comp the day after it came out and posted the build in the discord channel under the clan boss section, with pics of the speeds, pre-sets and alts. I later posted the calculator pics too as I forgot at the time. My team is 2:1 with Geo running at 176 1:1. High Khatun, Wixwell, Demytha, Corvis, Geo. I don't switch off any skills in my comp as it makes no difference if they are there or not and makes the tune easier for those not accustomed to the calculator. Two caveats would be any shield skills/ally protect. So far I've posted the results for void, force and magic and just waiting for spirit, but I believe I'll have to swap out the dps for a block debuffs champ. I have Brogni, but Marked will do. Heiress, in my comp (High Khatun) won't work without changing the speed tune significantly. All runs have gone the full 1500 on auto battle. ONLY dps can take stun if you do not have block debuffs, so be certain to swap dps for each affinity if necessary. I did not set up Dymetha to cleanse as she was already built at correct speed, but have been considering it for a test, but I have Brogni and will probably just swap him in for Geo on spirit. I was also going to remove Demytha for Hellborn Sprite for the rare quest anyway when built, so having her cleanse instead of block debuffs will probably cause it to fail without her in the team. I could simply remove Corvis instead of Demytha ofc but I want a big margin for error personally. Edited this in as it's VERY important... You do not turn off Wixwell's a3 after opener. You need his intercept to go onto everyone. This WILL eventually cover everyone and act like a block debuff skill and counter any 3% the CB hits you with, as it will prevent the stun and dec spd (spirit) and be replaced when it is knocked off by the CB. That is why you swap the dps out for any BAD affinity on your buff extenders and place the dps in second spot to take the first stun and the buff extenders in 3rd ,4th, and 5th spots (speed lead comps). However, you may still need a block debuffs champ if you have 2 of the same affinity extenders as dps on bad affinity CB or manual the opening to place the intercept on the extenders first then go full auto. If running a spd lead champ and none of their skills are important, then simply place intercept on the buff extenders first and let that champ take the stun if necessary. Also make certain that all champs has the Steadfast mastery and that your dps does not, again if spd lead is not important, then do not put steadfast on them either. The steadfast mastery acts like an extra buff to the CB and he will always go for the champ with the least buffs if 2 are bad affinity especially if that champ is higher in the turn order. The High Khatun comp does work on magic, force and void too 100% As already mentioned, you swap out dps and place them in second spot to take the stun on bad affinity placing poor affinity buff extender into 3rd spot if only extender having bad affinity, if you don't have Brogni or Marked that is. Malkith is also very good, if you have him as he is spirit affinity too, just turn off his a3.

@Krokus The Dragonite Ally protectors may take too much damage from the CB and break the shield early on. If you use one, then you will need to build significantly more def onto them to ensure this does not happen. I cannot tell you how much, you will have to experiment but I'd aim for 5k+ to start with and you can try lowering or increasing as necessary from there. Shield champs may overwrite Wixwell's shield at the start and be smaller in size so avoid them too.

Your video helped me build an all affinity UNM CB with 1:1 that just did 583M damage. The section where you explain how to strengthen Wix shield helped put me over the top. While the comp may not be affinity friendly with HighKhatun in lead vs Spirit you can get around it by putting Wixwell 2nd (since he applies the intercept buff in order) and manually applying it to him on his first turn. After that he will apply it to High Khatun and move down the row but reapply it to himself whenever it is used up.

Wixwell has made infinity teams incredibly accessible. I managed to build the Wix infinity team with Wixwell, Painkeeper in a shield set, Mikage, Godseeker and Ninja for DPS. It hits the turn limit and has gotten me around 275M on UNM.

@@ColredPlaysRSL Thanks for the reply. TBH I threw the team together based on the needed roles: a champion in a shield set, a shield extender, and two or three buff extenders. I've never used a speed tune calculator like DWJ's. Mikage's ally attack and the way she brings Ninja along with her A1 gets us a bunch of 2:1 turns as it runs so I'd say it's kind of a 1:1/2:1 hybrid maybe? The only change I make is on force affinity.: Gunt"s max HP hits replace Ninja's weak hits. All I know is the shield growth outpaces the demon lord's attacks and that's all that matters.

I tried using geo as my dps but had to switch out with rimehide in order for high khatun to get to 6 buffs and that was the sweet spot for me to finally get the shield to outgrow the damage. Great video! It is nice that it does make the comp immediately affinity friendly.

Regarding the sand lashed shield breaking 37:23 perhaps the issue is the stun hit is based on %maxHP. Therefore 65k Hp is too high. And causing her to take too much dmg later on. More defense definitely but decreasing the HP pool will also help.

Nice video and breakdown. Currently still building my Wixwell team. I've thrown in champs that were already built and around the right speeds for the tune I'm trying. Elva (lead), Sandlashed, God Seaker, Gnut and Wixwell (refresh). Elva is in the Shield set as she has a good base HP. Wixwell has 4-star Brimstone but no masteries yet. Even on Magic affinity, Gnut and Sandlash's shield held. However, the first run I tried, Fayne was my damage dealer and her shield was broken very early (1.5k def) and I was a bit shy of the one key even running all the way to the maximum turn limit. Another run failed with my Krisk but I don't have him built well. I don't have Corvis booked yet so his buff extension is on a 4-turn (as was Krisk's).

Great informatic video as always. However, just curious on the Demytha choice as the buff extender. Her A1 places a shield on a target ally with lowest HP. Doesn't that shield she places replace the original growing shield?

ally protect, what i found is yes that champ dies... but it gets the rest of the team over the hump and cb can't kill them may or may not be wasted team slot... but still i didn't even tune a team, threw 2 extenders, wix, block debuffs, and ally protect went 1500 turns brainlessly it was a 2-key UNM maybe 1-key with a couple toxic sets and full warmaster masteries (and wix brimstone)

Great video! It would've helped me more if all the Brogni stuff was in a different video, or there were timestamps so I could easily skip the parts where you talk about using Brogni. I get it. If you have Brogni then it is pretty simple, but I'm sure the majority of us don't have Brogni. You only show 1 successful run - and that was with Brogni. I'm still looking for a clear video that provides an example of successful runs and is affinity friendly, without Brogni.

Question: Duedan the Runic, seems like a good buff extender and a good candidate for a shield set. However his A2 applies a shield of 35% of his Max HP. Would that "re-initialize" the shield and ruin our growing shield each time?

Typically, if you're building an infinity team, you'd have Brogni open with his A3 and then turn it off. That way the team would have all of his buffs.

I'm using Arnduff and replaced Geomancer for my UNM CB Wixwell team. He got Weaken and 30% Reflect damage same as Geo but since his buff is an Actual 30% Reflect damage on all allies, it can be extended. He deals same damage on CB but does more damage against Spirit CB compared to Geo.

This has been great. One issue is my tine works fine if I manually pick the first intercept recipient. When I leave it on auto Wix is picking himself and breaking the tune as for example with Force affinity boss stuns my valerie. Is there any way to ensure who he will pick for intercept?

@redders84 He will apply his intercept in team order. So if you're going at a 2:1 ratio, the first stun target needs to be one of the first 2 champions in the team order. If you're going at a 1:1 ratio, the stun target MUST be the leader or the tune will break.

I use Wix without books, a merciless set and PK with reflex, Sandlash, Demytha and Mithralla for poisons and Smite, Wixwell also in smite, sill improving, on 88 mil now. Wilwell masteries still on, Demytha is on lvl 50 which doesn't seem to matter though

Pardic won't destroy the comp. You can use Apothecary too. Yes, Wixwell's A2 needs to be booked. The speeds need to be fairly close, but in general you want to have them go each 1 after another without someone taking extra turns, so ne Seeker, Deacon or anyone else that has extra turn mechanics nor Relentless or a full set ot Merciless.

1) No and Yes, there has to be some adjustments for speeds, but it surely can be done. 2) Not always. Boss attacks weak affinity, so you would have a pretty good guess on who he would target, just put the weak affinity in lead and Wixwell will make sure to give Intercept buff on them. 3) Yes and no. If he is fully booked you can run Wixwell and 2 other Buff extenders. However if he isn't booked, you need to run 1 more buff extender which takes away a damage dealer slot, so you won't get as much damage, so books are a priority for sure, but not a must. 4) I'm not sure on this one, i've seen a couple comps where they are fairly close, if this has a meaning or not, im not sure. Sorry about that. 5) Yes, which i kinda answered on (2). However if you have a Block debuff champion, there is no reason to leave it on as the block debuffs will be extended infinitely. You might as well just turn off the A3 after first use, because it doesn't do any damage.

Just curious, when you showed Wixwell near start of vid it looked like he wasn't booked. Did you book him before testing or was all your testing done without him being booked? From all the stuff I've seen and reports from other people in my clan/cluster booking Wixwell A2 is a must to get it to work on higher difficulty CBs.

@lifevsreality-tz3sy I have a few suggestions: 1) farm gear a lot when you can. Make sure you're completing both your Faction Crypts and Doom Tower every day for good forge materials. You can even farm speed boots in the speed set from campaign if you need to. 2) Don't neglect your Great Hall. Both Affinity and Area bonuses can help a lot. 3) Your team comp is fine, although you don't really need Alatreon. You just need to focus on building your champions as well as possible. You may want to search my YT channel for gearing videos - I have several that may help.

Wixwell is a great champ for Hydra. so this may limit his overall use in CB. you still need specific champs and decent builds for this to work. As CB isn't PVP, does Plarium really care about more people being able to 1 key? These teams are fun but I'll keep building an unkillable for CB-specific champs and free up Wixwell for Hydra etc.

Wixwell made clan boss 1 key every difficulty. I like not having to speed tune unkillable teams. This shield team is a threshold meeting team and you can go higher for more damage. Easier. Relaxing setup full auto.

Thanks for the elaborate video man! I was struggling on my 2th account. Had Wixwell, Geo, Godseeker, Anchorite and Maneater. On void maneater lost his shield on magic Anchorite lost his. I didnt understand why. Now guess what I changed: maneater with.. Mithrala.. Everything worked 300 mil damage. I think its because the increase def buf. Now I still have a question, my Mithrala masteries aren't fully build, can I enable masteries that increase turnmeter in an infinity comp or is that still not possible?

I am trying to build a 1:1 team with Wixwell, Riho with Block Debuffs and all the other Debuffs she brings, Rathalos for DPS, and Valerie x2 for Buff extenders. Everything looks good in the CB Calculator when entered, but around turn 13/14 I start losing the Shield buff brought by one of the Valerie's Shield set. I have buffed Valerie's HP as much as possible, just not sure where I am going wrong with this team build.

@tapman316 The stat requirements for a 1:1 team are VERY high. I wasn't able to get one working without Brogni in the comp. If you can make a 2:1 team, that would be better. You can also try a 4:3 composition if you don't have the 2:1 available. Basically, you need a lot of DEF on everyone to stop the shield from being reduced too much from the CB damage AND you need Wixwell to fire off his A2 as often as possible. Just have brogni as your only damage dealer and have 4 buff extenders with wixwell as one of them. Have speeds around 200-220. That’s what I’m doing. I have a level 50 valery and she survives easy. If someone dies add more defense.

Intercept won't always go on the leader. Wixwell will distribute Intercept through the party going in the order they were added. At a 2:1 speed, Wixwell will apply Intercept twice before the stun. Just make sure your stun target is in one of the first two slots of the party, and they will have Intercept before the first stun. As the fight continues on, he will continue to put Intercept on anyone who doesn't have it. When it falls off of the stun target, he will reapply it. Valerie reducing debuff duration by 1 turn can be enough to keep the team rolling at 2:1 even on Spirit, you will just need to time it so it gets used after AoE2, and speeds for this may be higher than the bare minimum speeds to go 2:1. Plug the following into Deadwood's calculator: High Khatun (lead) - 249 spd, open A2, turn off. Wixwell - 225 spd, open A3 Hellborn Sprite - 225 spd, open A3 Valerie - 191 spd, open A1, turn off A3 DPS - ~170spd, works on all that I've plugged in, but might need to tweak others by a point or two. I've been able to have Valerie survive even on force boss with just 2k defense as a level 40 rank 4 champion. My shield set champ was only about 76k health. Wixwell only had about 3k defense for his shield (he was my shield champ in the first test group, my shield sets are not good). The lower health actually helped minimize the damage from the stun hit (enemy max HP hit). These speeds can also be scaled up quite a bit and still work, in case you want to use champs in here at faster speeds in other places. I am now running both Wixwell and Mikage (replaced Sprite) over 250 speed, and Anchorite (replaced Valerie) around 220. High Khatun hasn't changed yet. I may replace her with Zinogre. I haven't got her ranked up yet as I haven't had a real use for her and just very recently got Mikage.

2:1 teams are really easy to build and afinity is not a problem because it wont even need to be in sync. at some point intercept will be in every champions. Im doing about 300M with no warmaster in any champ. Wixwell Anchorite(5*) Ragash Lanakis Geomancer(5*). works in every affinity and didnt really had to work that much around speeds.

Excellent video, thanks. I've just booked Wix so looking for suggestions for champs to run a team. First try (without changing anything on the champs) with Wix, Mikage, Demytha, Corvis & Geo and the shield got ripped after 25 turns. I put Geo in a shield set and ran it again and I hit the turn limit with 314m damage. Very happy I dont need to play around with speed tunes. Now just need to see how the different affinities affect the run! Thank You for the excellent champ suggestions.

Do I like this? Yes... ish. It's almost dummy proof. If you had the ability to get the fusion you have enough to walk through all CB. Friendly? Of course, but man was it fun trying to find a tune and an answer to the problem.

You can do 1to1comp just have 2 people in shield sets they stack

it's too bad you can't do a preset that says, for example, with Yannica: "on turn 1499 use "Elven justice"" because then, you would have Yannica on the team and on full auto, on the second to last turn, she explodes the shields and blasts the boss. but in order to do this, you have to manual this or watch it and then manual the second to last turn. I just pulled a Geomancer from the prism pool, so that's really nice the pool is very good, it has Trunda in it as well as Rotos, wallmaster and Kalvalax. it has Lady Quilen, which I need for mikage, but I didn't pull one though.

Yannica doesn't remove your own teams shields. The Clan boss doesn't have a shield. Or maybe you're talking Hydra? Because then yes, that would be nuts haha.

Doesn't seem to work anymore as of today. I used to do 150+mil per key and today the same team barely does 40 mil per key. No changes in gear, speed and/or faction guardians.
