Did you put anything to support the front in case of tipping over? In the process of removing tranny on a quick jack also. This vid helped alot.

You think you could have done this with jack stands?

I would not trust it on Jack stands that’s why I did it with the Quickjack so for me I would say no because of how high you have to lift it 🤷🏽‍♂️

what was the reason for removing the transmission? I mean apart from being a rebuild or upgrade for higher horsepower?

It got stuck between 2 gears, the magnets on the valve body rotated causing the issue.
