He's such a idiot!! 😆 I did 17yrs, in some pretty rough prisons, & started doing time in the 90's, when inmates still controlled the prisons in Illinois, & been in Joliet, Stateville, Cook County, Nevada State Prison & Ely State Prison, & if you don't have paperwork whatever car you're a part of will give you a stamped envelope to send out to get your paperwork, if you don't have it after that, THEN you'll have problems, we'll usually give you 2-4 weeks, depending on how we feel, but you're "on freeze" until your paperwork checks out. I was an actual REAL shot caller too, & it's not as glamorous as everyone makes it out to be, at least not as a Gangster Disciples, we get DOUBLE the consequences if we mess up, because we should know better, thankfully I got a 2nd chance & seized it!

I went into corrections after the military and college, and I left for the same reasons. I can relate to your stories because, like you, I wouldn’t go for the back-biting, politics, corruption, and bullshit that went with the job. Yeah same here, I went from a 11B Infantryman in Afghanistan January 2012 and working in a Max Prison Nebraska Diagnostic and Evaluation Center(DEC) August 2012. What irritated me was how they treated me like I just graduated Highschool because I was still a Young Man 23 Years Old. They didn't value my experience at all. It was like being a Pvt all over again.
