The MPAA wouldn't never let Damien Leone film a scene so sadistic. The saw cut in half her body. not even Saw movies or Hostel movies had the gore of a scene. He research turture method . This one is very meh for me it's just a fun introduction to Art. Damien Leone has admitted that that's what the first one is. It was his way of checking to see how the audience responded to Art. But I promise that the 2nd one is where it gets really good. It has an actual story and is a proper movie. The 3rd one is def the best.

Good to know! Yeah I’ve heard good things about 2 and 3. Definitely a risk to have a meh movie basically as like a “test” but when you have a great villain to help carry, it works!
