not to be mean but you’re already skinny if you thought that this would make you even skinner then idk what to tell you. if anything this challenge would help build your muscle not help you lose weight because im sure you already have very low body fat. so i wouldn’t blame chloe this workout did what it did and you’re probably stronger now girl❤️

Gotta be realistic about your goals, like at what point are you going to stop trying to lose centimeters in your waist, when it goes to zero? : P Feeling stronger sounds like the workouts did what they were supposed to, although I’m sure there are more effective programs for advanced folks.

Maybe the reason your waist grew is because depending on the type of ab workouts you do, your waist can get bigger as your abs get more defined. Exercises like crunches do this, whereas movements like Russian twists help shrink the waist

Isn’t it the other way around? Because it’s an illusion so your obliques are higher up and performing Russian twists define them whereas crunches build the abs on your stomach area?

I'll share my experience with the same challenge: I personally got so much results !!! When i started this program, i had NO experience in working out, and i am overweight. I'm at day 23, and i've lost 6 kg and 10+ cm around my stomach ! Beside the challenge i do go on a long walk every morning, i do intermitting fasting, drink a lott (and only) water and i cut out junk food. Soo, i guess changing my eating habits did helped me a lot with my weight, but when i observe my before/after photos i also notice many differences (more definition, and toned) that are only due because of the workouts! So yea, each body is different, when i started the challenge i didn't expect getting changes, and yet each week i progressed. So if you're hesitating you should give it a go, at least try the 2 weeks challenge! good luck

Yay! This makes me happy. I started today. I’ve already lost 7 pounds with just eating healthy but I wanted to tone up too but I was scared I would stop losing. I’m so happy it worked for you!

Well done for completing the challenge! Muscle and strength is more important than weight loss for someone of your size. I think you did great as you pushed past your motivation issues.

My experience: I did the 2020 Summer Shred Challenge and I lost 10 pounds (4.6 kgs) (I am 16yrs old My starting weight was 151 (January 6 2022) and after the challenge my weight was 140 (February 7 2022) and I am currently doing the 2019 2 Weeks Shred Challenge (Feb 10 = my 3rd day) You can do it guys :)

exactly! I think if she used a body fat scale she would have evidence that she lost fat and increased her muscle mass, so she is healthier now than at the start.

@@chazhavnfun she hasn't worded that correctly but the same dimension of muscle weighs more than the same dimensions of fat. If you have a cup of fat and a cup of muscle, the cup of muscle will weigh more.

the thing about waist getting bigger is that abs exercises targeted obliques!! so for an overweight person it may seem that they are losing inches in waist, and they do, but at the same time the obliques get bigger so that if you're already skinny and there's no much fat to target, obliques become more visible and in result waist becomes bigger as well

The first half usually that’s when the biggest results happen. The second half there’s usually little to no change because your body will eventually get used to the workouts, so when you felt like the workouts were repetitive so did your body. Same thing happened to me.

I don’t think some of y’all realize you can’t expect to get smaller if you don’t change your diet. A caloric deficit makes you lose fat.

She got muscles. Muscles weight more than fat, but they have less volume. Muscles are goooooood for God sake. Why do you do a workout if you don't want muscles? You only get stronger building muscles

This work is not always making smaller parts of your body, as it says, it is to give you the line marks in you abs. It also depends on how you eat.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. that’s because chloe ting tends to focus on your obliques and if you OVERWORK them muscle may grow in that area therefore making it even more boxy!!! that’s why you should rlly only focus on core workouts instead of trying to actually target the waist 😭😭

Pictures always show so much progress tho!!! So I'd recommend looking at that instead of measurements because I have never seen a video where someone doesn't make progress visually. It just shows the big picture better!

Trait Personnaly I did it and I was shocked by the results : i lost 4 centimeters on "up tummy"??? (sorry for bad english), and 6 centimeters on "down tummy", this challenge really works on your body, you have to try it!

I am so sorry you had these results. I'm sorry if this seems like promoting, but I want to help you (and others who do this challenge). I did this challenge and the video is on my channel now. I lost a lot of inches and I also make videos on what I eat and not eat ect. So if you want a little help, I am here! And remember to not give up just because the measurements wasn't as good as you hoped!

Yeh ngl the hour glass one didn’t work for me. I saw 0 difference after about 20 days so I gave up. Maybe I should of kept going but it was getting frustrating spending so many hours doing it for no change what so ever. However toning workouts don’t do much for me, cardio does but everybody is different :)

Don’t worry about losing the gains. As long as you keep your protein up you’ll be fine. You could also add weights and bands for the lower body exercises if you want

Hello from day 6 👋🏻 Actually just in 6 days i feel much stronger both pyhsically and mentally. I wasn’t doing any kind of exercise for months so idk maybe this is why i feel that way.

I think most people don’t see results because her cardio isn’t too crazy effective. I’m sure if she had more intense cardio then you would be able to see some more ab definition!! Keep working! There are plenty of amazing fitness youtubers

try green tea no sugar or honey or any sweetener. try less carbonated drinks, try not to drink coffee in my opinion and drink lots of water but at a moderate pace

thats normal lmao its called eating. you might just be retaining water which is a result of sodium intake or extra carb intake but it should flush out after a few days. but usually its just food lmao

Eating a lot of processed foods that are high in sodium and sugar will make you feel bloated. Also, you could be sensitive to dairy, so maybe try cutting that out.

Girl let me give you a advise, idk how to explain... let me give u an example- Today is day 10 (or wherever you choose to take a break) but I don't feel like working-out so I took day 10 as an off-day and day 17 is off-day so I will replace day 10 and day 17 I will take a break on day 10 and will workout in day 17 as day 10 (I don't know whether day 17 is off or have to workout I just gave the date)

Q1: Yes there is, go on Google and search "Chloe Ting" and tap on her free workout program Q2: In the workout program site tap on the "2020 Summer Shred challenge" Q3: She listed all her rest days Q4: Everything is listed Your Welcome

U are not working hard enough I lost 1 kg In four days u can tooo don’t eat to much and do the workout at your best effort

I’ve seen better results with the two week shred since it’s only two weeks that makes the videos more intense

@@justafangirl9016 I got no results on the 2 week shred eating clean probably cause I was eating mainly clean before too. Honestly I'm personally not too impressed with the results I've been getting (currently doing summer shred, day 8) I think I might need to start lifting and find other more effective HIIT.

Ummm your supposed to do the full challange, not just half of it for the results. Don't expect to get anything when you only worked out for a week, even Chloe tings shortest challanges are atleast 2 weeks long

So you look up Chloe Tings website and click on the program you want to do, it should show you what videos to do for that day.

Weight means nothing cause muscles heavier than fat so it most likely didn’t change cause you got muscle

Keep going. Not everyone is going to have crazy weight loss after only 28 days. You do build your strength and that’s worth it alone. She is already tiny so she most likely was just building muscle and that’s why she didn’t lose pounds. And it toned her up. I did this challenge and I lost weight but I also have a lot of weight to lose.
