Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could kzbin.infoUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

Hay Mike. Remember there's a ton of structure out there. Ya know... Norm and ayos antics. Been using the bandito as a substitute for the spinnerbait recently. Light weight waking it just under the surface. Been dynamite recently. I'm not sure ifr ever seen anyone catch as many bass out of lojos pond accept when he uses lice bait. And breaking off.. he does that.. all the time. Trust me.👍😄

I'm sorry I have a commented in a while. I do appreciate seeing a new you I think and by saying that I mean more instructional and tutorial about certain products that you're using to fish with like lures and things as well as how to catch them and where to look for them and to use them in what areas or water types or temperatures, etc I love that! That's stuff that I need to know, that I either don't think about all the time, and that could be why I'm not catching as much or as large fish as I could and I'm in Florida, it's fantastic down here for bass fishing! A single clinch knot for a crank bait? I use that for my drop shot knot to the weight so if it gets stuck the knot will fail before I lose my rig.

I'd love to get some of the Googan gear, but you don't ship here sadly. The fish at 11:40 is a large female gambusia (mosquito fish) and the dark spot indicates it's pregnant. They're live-bearers and invasive around the rest of the world. Very good feeders for bass fry and panfish, live in a huge range of water conditions and they breed like flies.
