Where did you put the MAP sensor? Close to the turbo where theres less fluctuation, or closer to the throttle body where it's more "accurate"?

Good to see another kiwi! Did you ever get the carb and turbo to work properly together or efi was the ticket? I'm looking at building up a gy6 scooter engine for a paramotor. At altitide engines have power loss due to thin air, a turbo could be a way around this. Is the eft kit from Ali express?

Hey! Awesome job man! I've always wanted to hear the breathing sound of a turbo out of a bike. Nice! And i have a one question, what are the oil lines in and out from the cooler and where are the lines go? Did you make a hole in the sump?

Thanks! The oil lines come from a port in side of motor. Through cooler and into turbo. And then into side of engine from a plug. I didn't want to drill any holes in sump

Yeah it's still going strong 1 Year 5000kms later. I must have a good oil supply. My minibike turbo bearings failed from lack of oil however

Did you have to tune much after installing the efi kit? Did you get the small engine efi kit with a 2.5 bar map? And what was the total cost of the efi kit? I am working on a blow through setup, but efi seems much better..

It self tunes. Ecotrons sends you a pre tuned software for your engine. It started straight away. I can fine tune all parameters. I only play with start fuel and warm up richness. Efi is the way to go. It cost nz $1200 and include 2.5bar map sensor. It's been reliable 7000kms so far

Japan we bike has tanks like that. I had to extend the front and rear mounts so I can still turn full lock

@@tearav3 trail ways complain at around 115 klicks an hour on stock sprockets, but the engines are so detuned. With a carby as lean as a string bean and compression lower than your average fart that blown rich efi would logically kick it way up there.

Wow awesome yeah for sure! Ecotrons don't sell a kit anymore. But I'm sure there are other small engine efi kits out there. Easy part is the welding. Hard part is tuning
