Been driving a '17 Energi Titanium and it's at about 180,000 miles now. Good to know you guys are out there, and in my state. I think I know who I'm bringing it to for repairs in the future. Dealer mechanics can't seem to handle these cars, like the knowledge has been lost to turnover and attrition. I guess there's a lot of specialized knowledge required and the people who got good at this just run their own shops now.

Can you make a video that shows how you actually remove the old bearings and the tools you use to pull them?

Or where do you buy all parts for this transmission?

I replaced the transmission in a 2018 with a unit from a recycling yard. The HV battery had low voltage when I got the car, but now after replacing the transmission it is showing NO voltage. I now have a no start situation. Do you have any recommendations for charging the HV battery so I can drive this vehicle out of my shop?

I swapped out the transmission in a 2018 with one that was sourced from a local recycler... The HV batter voltage was low when I started working on the car, but after the the trans install it isn't showing any voltage. Can not get the engine to start with no HV voltage. Is there something I can do to put some voltage in this battery, and get this car back going again?

I thought the HF35 transmission was part of the recall and wasn't installed past Aug 15, 2015??

Wow that's crazy it was driving like that! Great job 👍 147k miles, wonder how long it was making bad noises before the extreme carnage happened 😅

Good thing in California transmission is covered on the Energi models 15 years 150k miles. Got a good deal on one with clean title and bad transmission with 119k miles. Paired with PGE used EV tax rebate it was free. As soon as I bought it took it to dealer, tho I did get over heat warning a few times. Noticed it wasn’t the engine so must’ve been the transmission and it’s being fixed for free now.

Can you provide me a source and name of the dealership. My local dealership is clueless and they kept saying my transmission warranty is 10 years 150k miles. 6 month ago, I took it in and they said nothing wrong with it. Now transmission is getting worse and now making grinding/buzzing noises and now vibrating at 60mph. Car now have 139k miles

@@Dragonman10000 Source? Owners manual. Important to read it. And I took mines in. Not all service advisors are good. Some are dumb or not knowledgeable and will tell you no because it may not be in their system so you'll have to contact Ford corporate to show them or complain, or show the advisor the owners manual. Also car has to be registered in certain states and follow those rules in order to do so, so it does not apply to everyone. I'm in California so it applies to me. Battery is 10 year 150k miles but transmission and other emissions systems are 15 years 150k miles unless otherwise stated.

Great work! But would a replacement transmission be cheaper?
