Just subscribed, brilliant series on air faults, brilliant presentation, will now binge watch all your other content. It is all showing about a year old, so I guess you have probably given the KZbin thing up ? What a shame if that is the case 🙁 Thanks for taking the effort to create this 😀😀😀

Great job and videos, had an 2008 LR3 with suspension issue that I fixed overhauling the compressor. Stealership quoted me thousands. Now have a 2011 RR supercharged , 140k miles. Changed the compressor , but found the leak in the front right airbag. Once that was changed all good. You got me thinking about the reservoir.😮. However the price seems pretty good. I need to upgrade my diagnostic tool, I have the isoft. With these cars we’ll worth it. Bravo to you sir. I am based on the east coast USA.

Enjoyed the video , I admire people who take the time out to make them , while trying to diagnose and fix an issue ! Then finish with the positives . 👍

Really enjoying these videos. I myself own a 2008 with 171k on the clock so there’s no doubt I’ll be up against these issues in the near future. I replaced the thermostat housing on mine when I first bought the car and I dread to think what I would’ve been charged by a dealer to do that job! I’m about to tackle the radiator tomorrow as it has a small leak but apart from that it still drives lovely. Looking forward to more videos 😁

Thank you @jamiemarshall2262 appreciate that 👍 and well done for doing the thermostat housing yourself, I’m confident we can keep these going for 30+ years and beyond and doing as many of the jobs on them ourselves is the way forward. Good luck with the radiator 🤞, slow and steady is the way.

Great fix and what a saving, to me its a no brainer just to do a service on the compressor its like any compressor it will need a service. For the milage it's done and on UK roads over the seasons of rain and salt I dont think its done bad at all, and the price of doing the work yourself for ( to me looked like an easy job ) was pretty cheap esp for the comfy ride it gives you , dont understand people that buy these cant be bothered to do a search on people like yourself to then change it to a coil spring.

Well done you I would love one of these but scared to death of costs as I could on afford an older one anyway.

@tunnel7 Thank you 👍 They are fantastic cars and I’m a huge fan but they can require either a pot of cash put aside to keep them going or as I have chosen to get stuck in and fix as many of the problems as I can 🙂

nice job ,i dont have any error codes but my near side rear will drop over night ,airbag replaced valve block seals replaced still the same tho ??????? possible airline fault ?
@car-repairs-diy-at-home Жыл бұрын
Thank you @markburton4681 👍 If there is definitely no leaks from the air spring itself and the valve block solenoids are serviced and working then I agree I would be looking for an airline / connector leak and spraying every connector with soapy water to see if I can track it down starting with the line to the recently installed air spring. If you have access to a calibration tool I would also check suspension heights and recalibrate the suspension after replacing air spring. As you don't have any fault codes it does sound like you have an airline leak somewhere. Good luck 🤞

who did you use to purchase the reservoir tank ?
@car-repairs-diy-at-home Жыл бұрын
@michaelbrownhill8776 , I ordered the air reservoir from Maltings Off Road Ltd based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Good price, ordered am on a Monday and it was delivered next day! Can’t ask for more than that 🙂

great series on the L322 air suspension, thank you Sir. My 2006 4.2 SC is giving the same fault code and moreover, it drops over 4 5 days on all corners, uniformly. Did yours drop in anyway?
@car-repairs-diy-at-home Жыл бұрын
@cosminstaicu6522 thank you sir 👍, mine did not sag / drop overnight or over a period of time when standing. If it had I would first suspect a leak/s in the air spring/s and investigate this first. The reason being that if there is a leak in an air spring, while the vehicle stands and it detects that it is not level within a tolerance it makes automatic adjustments to try and level itself and eventually the vehicle will be all the way down either on the front , back or all 4 corners on the bump stops. Hope that helps track down your problem, Good Luck 🤞
@cosminstaicu6522 Жыл бұрын
@@car-repairs-diy-at-home I see, it adjusts downwards. If a specific corner drops, than it automatically brings all corners to that level. Thank you!
