i maaaay have spent 3 days upgrading this map and it's resource pack to 1.18.2. i won't reupload the map, i basically just worldedited the old blocks into new blocks in a couple places.

Even if the project is not finished, you still managed to implement a lot of creative ideas! I do understand your pain, this kind of videos take too much time because of coding and researching almost everything on your own. But in the end, that's still pretty epic

that's just a texture pack isn't it? so someone went and manually calculated where shadows would land and built all that by hand? insane

LET'S GOO THE MOOSE HAS WOKEN UP FROM THEIR -FIVE- SIX MONTH SLUMBER Even if this video was a project vaulted in your basement like a forgotten jar of pickles, it was absolutely worth the wait, just like waiting for a jar of pickles. The execution of the ideas is lovely; bending time and space to rotate the universe around the player when you can't manually move the player is one of the most game dev things I've seen in a while now, the shadows being baked into the world is amazing and I would totally pay for a mod that just plays a bonk sound effect whenever you run straight into a wall while sprinting. Keep up the good work! Undust more recordings n' grind n' more youtube things I'm not qualified enough to give suggestions on 💪

showing the struggles of trying to make a project like this makes it all the more satisfying when it works. a lot of youtubers just avoid talking about the lengthy work it took, but you manage to make even that entertaining.

Don't worry peep, for an unfinished product, it's way more polished than some mods/plugins I've seen before! Plus just getting the video out is accomplishment enough, I know how uploading can get crazy. Not to mention this is crazy for minecraft since it's a smooth parkour mechanic, so that's really cool!

OH MY GOD THANK YOU IVE NEEDED THIS also! if you were to edit an already existing animation library, i recommend trainguy's animation overhaul, it would make it look better in third person, and you could even use the first person mod to make it look cool in first person too!

This is such a cool looking map, I'll have to check it out. Thanks so much for sharing your work. Vanilla shaders are probably the coolest under-utilized feature in the game. If you're looking for video ideas, I'd love another video tutorial on them... if such a thing as a beginner-friendly shaders tutorial is even possible haha.

MOST 🔥 PLUGIN. Hopefully pt 2 in 6 months :^). No pressure man, I for one know what 'distraction' does to someone's video creation, you should only make videos when you feel like it. I suggest instead of working on one project, try to have more of them. This may seem contradictory but for me having different things to work on and switching between them when I get bored helps a lot. You could also reduce the size of your projects for more uploads, requiring less work. These are all just suggestions in the end, so do what you do best! (Writing this at 2 am rn lol)
