I FLASHED MY 2023 YAMAHA R1 ECU…DYNO’d at 202 HP

I flashed my Hayabusa, not just more power and a de-restricted top speed, but it became positively turbine like in its power delivery, no throttle glitches or such like issues any more.

I just bought a 10/22 Yamaha R1 which has the ecu factory locked. The bike was flood damaged by fresh water and is not in bad condition at all. I’m looking into buying a new ecu and key set or possibly a race ecu however I’m not sure if the bike will still be locked or whether the race ecu will be a money pit. The bike has had fresh oil filters and plugs it turns over but won’t fire. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Located north NZ

Order an OEM ECU and flash it. Then install it. You should be fine if you also replace the battery.

Mate it literally says 192? Maybe 202 to the crank but just say that? I thought it was a genuine 202 whp,

Actually the 192 is adjusted for temp. It's a true 202. The bike SCREAMS in MODE A.

If it actually was 202 you understand that if you have an untouched motor, you are 7-11 hp more than any others. Happy for you, however please list the following...... 1.Fuel type and octane and source 2. Air filter brand mods and airbox mods. 3. What tire? 4. Motor mods if any. 5. Air temp and humidity. 6. Pipe Thanks. For example my 2020 was 193.6 at rear on stock tires, with clear premium chevron fuel, $200 cat delete from m4, stock silencer (which is loud!), & metal screen removed from air filter, air temp around 60 degrees, guessing 60% humidity. Mode A is for the top speed but because the bike screams is 202. Nice channel, good reviews, but credibility is important.

Peter this bike was FRESH out of the crate. This is how I break in all my bikes. We do all the mods and then run the controlled heat cycles on the dyno while flashing the ECU...then I take the unit on the road and do 10 125+ MPH pulls to solidify the tune.

Motogp bikes are broke in on a dyno for a reason this guy is doing it right the old man has always told me break it in how ur gonna ride it. So I decated and slip on ran it on stock tune for the season. Ran it like a hooked that owed me money. Over winter I broke it down n did my mods n got it tuned and I'll say this year she is running absolutely amazing. I did block offs full graves exhaust system crank breather mod intake mod with mswr race filter I will let you kno what my numbers are when I get it on the dyno. Reason I didn't tune before was the warranty I broke it in hard if it was gonna break it would have by now 2900 hard miles n loved every one of them and you will too buddy

Cars...the list is vast. But we did a complete motor tear down and replaced the velocity stacks and piston billet for more fuel capacity and torque. Sprocket and chain. Moto GP shifter and installing the new handlebar shifter and throttle controls.

We redid the airbox and velocity stacks. Installed a new larger billet for increased air and gas mixture.

Exacly bro, these guys are lying or have happy dynos showing +10hp-15hp results on the stock bike with an ecu flash and an exhaust. You have to own the r1-m to know that this is BS. The gytr has cams, lightweight crankshaft, pistons etc and the stock bike can match it almost on these dynos??? no i don't think so.

So sorry dude but is 192(still great) not 202, I search for your "evidence" of the 202 but is not way to find out in your channel. This R1's makes with a stock engine from 182 to 194 with a flash is doesn't matter what exhaust you have.

Keep scrolling down. I recorded the entire tune session and the engine work done at KWS. The bike may get even more RWHP now that it’s broken in. My bike is the FASTEST on the track. Don’t be a hater. 🤓

Please post where it shows 202 I would love to see it. I watched the whole video and like everyone else is saying it shows 192? I know KWS is one of the best tuners if not the best on the East coast I have known them for 30 years that being said if the dyno reads 192 its 192 never in my life heard of adjusted temperature readings for a dyno. It is what it is. So when I had my S1000rr tuned by Mike and it showed 199 RWHP your saying it was really 209? They are really good but you can't squeeze blood from a turnip just not happening... @@CK_RIDES
