You are wonderful, Joe. I just guess they are refugees of minor tribes from Myanmar. So they don't have ID. That makes it impossible to go to school. I might be wrong. You can ask police or any Thai to help you. Many illegal workers and immigrants in Thailand. This is as much as I can say.

Just for general. Illegal immigrants are severe in many countries, UK, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Poland, and much more. Many European countries try very hard to solve the problems. And so Thailand do. I am sorry if I say something wrong.

Sure! But they are humans at the end of the day and the world needs more love and care! Helping isn’t a bad thing - whatever the situation is

This is good inspiration for Westerners visiting SE Asia. Try to bring some unused toys, notebooks or coloring books from home so that you can give them to the needy families and kids that you may come across in the Philippines, Cambodia, Burma etc, where there tends to be more poverty in the big cities. You can chat with them, build some real memories and improve their lives. Far too often, Westerners don't really interact with the locals to have some real authentic experiences, they're usually in their own bubbles in SE Asia.

100%!! You cannot help everyone, but you can connect with people and just make them smile. I also think as KZbinrs in those countries, we can do more. As long as it is genuine and not just for views or vanity. Seeing them each day brightens my day too.

With the fundraiser I’m hoping they will be off the street in a matter of days. I don’t really want to be giving out locations as I’m not sure it’s entirely safe to be doing that publicly. If you can support the fundraiser that would be amazing.

@@mtha7796 so we should paint everyone with the same brush of disdain? I’ve spent a lot of time with them and got to know them, I trust my judgement and my eyes
@hungrytoexplore2 ай бұрын
@@mtha7796 Homeless, poor, beggars, this is an issue in every country, including mine. But you know what, I connected with them, I sat with them on the street about 50 times before I found out their nationality. I met them as people, not anything else, and because of my connection, I choose to help. I travel Thailand sometimes and film, still trying to be respectful of culture, showcase restaurants and places where it can help. I have seen that difference too. it isn't about who to help and not to help... it is just about helping where you can and not causing divide.

@@mtha7796 what even is this attitude?? That statement makes no real world sense for a start! Secondly it’s so narrow minded it doesn’t even deserve a response. Please take your attitude elsewhere.

You have a big heart but there are so many illegal immigrants and human trafficking in Thailand that the government encourages people not to help these people. Many of them are Cambodian, Burmese and from neighboring countries. The government is trying to crack down these illegal activities but they need our help. Supporting these people will encourage them to come and stay in Thailand illegally even more.
@phantaztixАй бұрын
Every country has illegal immigrants. Thailand even has rich illegals. Every time an American, British, German, Russian, Australian "expat" overstays their visa, they are now an illegal immigrant. Yes, trafficking is a problem, worldwide. But, we cannot turn a blind eye to a beautiful soul that needs help. We can only hope the help we give goes to the good cause we intend it for. If we ignore every poor person on the street, then what good is there left in humanity. Joe chose this family, whether by chance, or by intention. But maybe we can give them a better day tomorrow. I can afford a little money that doesn't affect me, so I hope it affects them in a good way. มีความสุขมากๆนะ ครับ.

It is so sad to see that lots of Cambodian are came to Thailand for into beggar and made the trouble to ppl around too much (illegal). Cambodia's government always treated their ppl so bad. This is one of burden from nieghbor countries around Thailand. We're Thai sick to give and helping for all those countries coz of they are ungreatful.
@hungrytoexploreАй бұрын
Since when did they beg?? They sell on the street, they don't beg. They are genuine and very good humans. Sorry to hear you are sick of being a good person and helping others... it must be difficult for you. They have always been so grateful for everything I give, whether it is a lollipop, a dress, or the news of the fundraising amount. Perhaps try not to jump to negative conclusions so much.
@emmak.4244Ай бұрын
@hungrytoexplore we've had lots of bad experienc and lessons since in the past until nowadays about to helping ppl from nieghbor countries. Actually we're always be kindness and respect to others even stranger. Its okay, you are just a foreigner and visiter in our country and don't know anything about that. However I hope you enjoy and keep you be always kindness to others not just making a content and I'd like to thankful if you help them to get back to their country, give them some careers as well, it is better than doing disrespect the law like this, staying as immigration and sell anything in Prohibited for sale on that area. And more important an immigration DO NOT sell everything in Thailand (illegal). 1st they need to have work permision as Thai ppl and others did it in Europe, US, and etc in around the world. Everyone have to follow and respect their law. You should to know this.
@hungrytoexploreАй бұрын
@ you’re so good at this, you should go apply for a job with immigration. Guess what, I met them 50 times before even knowing where they are from. I wanted to help because I connected on a human level and I chose to help. I made a video, raised funds and now they have gone home. 1 day after me helping them. They went! People all want the same thing, peace and happiness. Try to see that and be less bitter.
@emmak.4244Ай бұрын
@@hungrytoexplore oh you told me apply for a job with immigration, but you didn't tell anything to Cambodian immigrats in Thailand to do the same. This is shown how iniquity you are. You are only making the content for earning money from KZbin, acting to be nice person in camera, but behide the scene is opposite. Many KZbinr came to Thailand for make much more the viewer complete bcoz of they are honesty love Thailand and respectful to Thai ppl and others. But you are NOT at all, wish you all the best Mr.2face 🙄
