What is the useful load of your aircraft ? Because you manage to put 2 people, bags and fuel in it. Personally I weigh 200 lbs and it’s difficult to fit 2 people in a 150 or 152😂

I soloed a Cessna 150 on my 16th birthday in 1979 at Buchanan Field in Concord CA but then was immediately distracted with rock music, and that became the career for the next 40 years! Now in my 60s, I’m inspired with channels like yours to get my private pilots license. Keep up the great work!

Question, when you have airports with multiple runways, how do you know which one your landing on and not go on the wrong runway?( from the ground)

If the airport is controlled, the tower will instruct the aircraft as to which one to use. The runway number corresponds to the magnetic heading it is oriented to. To approach it for landing, a pilot would be flying that same heading on final. If it is uncontrolled, the pilot has discretion. Their decision typically depends on runway length, prevailing wind direction and speed, among other factors. They'll state their intentions on the UNICOM frequency, unless there isn't one. All runways are numbered 01 through 36. That number corresponds to its magnetic direction. Each runway is a 40° angle apart from the other, making it pretty hard to approach the wrong one. Many airports have parallel runways; in this case, they will be labeled left, right, or center (34L, 34R, 34C). The other end of the runway would be 16L, 16R, or 16C, corresponding to its magnetic direction.
