Joas flies to Montana to spend a few days with his frail 89-year-old mother. It was a special time with family and friends! 
I even got to go inside our Montana Haven home, although I spent the nights with mom.

I loved this so much! My mom had Alzheimer's and I was heartbroken that I could no longer talk with her. Dad was a preacher and we all used to sing hymns together. At one of my visits, the Lord told me to sing the songs she and dad and I used to sing together. She no longer knew me but she knew every hymn and worship song. Not only did she know them but she raised her hands to praise and worship Jesus whom she remembered. The one she had loved her whole life. I found so much comfort in that. You will never forget this Visit the rest of your life.❤

I know it meant so very very much to have you there, to hear her babies singing, to be able to fall asleep holding your hand. I keep hearing what Billy Graham said before he passed. He told people not to grieve, that he wasn't leaving, he was only changing his address. That gave me comfort when I lost my parents, brothers, husband, and other loved ones. You have such a beautiful, loving, and talented family, and it is all due to the love, guidance, patience, morals, and faith your parents have instilled in all their children. This has got to be the most heart touching video you have ever done. Thank you for sharing that with us. I have two sons that would also very likely do what you did with your precious Moma. I have over ten years yet before I am 89. But my son’s are always hugging and holding me close when we greet each other and when we say bye after we have visited. They are very masculine yet so tender hearted. Your duet with your sister revealed your voice. You have a very distinct alto range. Had to be a heavenly sound to your Moma’s ears hearing both of you harmonizing together. Whenever I watch your videos from over the years, whenever both families, Millers and Gerod’s , have get together’s, you eat, you play games and then you just sit and sing and sing. It is so inspirational and a meaning family tradition. What a wonderful heritage and legacy both couples are leaving behind when they move to Heaven. Our faith and love surround you!

I played gospel music for my grandma an hour or so before she went home to be with the Lord in January of 23. I got off the plane and drove straight over to see her and spend time together with her. She passed away less than an hour after I left for the evening.

(You sure look like your mother & Elvie looks like your father.😉) I'm sure she appreciated you being there. I know what you're feeling, Joas. My mother will be 93 on March 30th, Lord willing. I flew from TX to IN the day after Thanksgiving to see her. She was hospitalized with pneumonia 6 days before I went. Thankfully she was dismissed 2 days before my trip, so she was home when I got there. She is doing pretty well now, but is on oxygen all the time. At her age, you just never know. I am so blessed to still have her. It was so good to see Ben! I loved you singing with your sister Becky, so beautiful. I love the song "The Royal Telephone".
