Hey Grace don’t panic if you break out after the mask and new skin care, remember your skin will purge when you pop a mask on and it’ll draw for a few days
@brightbluesummer39814 жыл бұрын
I hate to be the one to break it to her but her normal skincare products are actually better than the ones she spent loads of money on. All Grace needs is the Cetaphil cleanser, the spot cream (which I imagine either has salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide), and a good moisturizer. All of which should have zero fragrance especially if she has sensitive skin. And with the new skincare products, her skin should purge as you said. It could take skin 2-3 weeks to fully adapt. I read a lot of the ingredients and the reality is most of what she bought really isn't going to do much for her acne-prone skin. Many people can have gorgeous skin with these products, however, you have to keep in mind diet and genetics are also factors that determine overall skin health. This is just my recommendation though. DISCLAIMER: I do not have a degree in dermatology I'm just an 18-year-old who has dealt with cystic acne in the past and would consider herself a skincare guru. If some of you would like to learn more about skincare there are many amazing dermatologists with PhDs on KZbin who review products and give great advice for how to really take care of your skin. I honestly do not know if Grace is going to see this but if she does I wrote this comment just for her to know and to keep it in mind. She honestly has great skin too. I love the videos she posts. She always knows how to make me smile. 😀😊
@chromeaces4 жыл бұрын
BrightBlueSummer your skin should really only “purge” if it is an active eg. vitamin c/AHAs/BHAs. so if it doesn’t actually have an active ingredient, your skin is really just reacting badly and unfortunately would recommend to stop using it. Honestly as much as I like doing skincare on a budget I think some people just really need to see an actual dermatologist. I think I’ve spent more money doing trial and error on different skincare products that I’d prob be saving more money just going to a dermatologist.
@brightbluesummer39814 жыл бұрын
@@chromeaces True, it should only happen with active ingredients. For me, it was pretty straightforward. I did a lot, and I mean a lot of research before I went out buying products. My only real concern was my cystic acne. Fortunately, on KZbin, I have the ability to watch many skincare specialists and their recommendations. A skincare routine has to have the right ingredients, stay simple, and stay consistent. It took a full year of serious dedication but I was able to cure my cystic acne for myself. I used products free of fragrance and dyes and usually followed a 4 step skincare routine. If I wore makeup I double-cleansed, then I followed up with a toner that includes salicylic acid. Then benzoyl-peroxide spot cream and finally a moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated. I did my skincare twice a day, every day, and yes I have skipped it on certain occasions. Only if I was extremely tired or in pain. I personally think Grace should not have to see a dermatologist all I would say she needs to do is implement a moisturizer. She already has great skin. But you are right, I have seen many people spend tons of money experimenting with skincare products just to see their skin get worse or to have no results in general. Just out of curiosity were you also trying to get rid of acne?
@chromeaces4 жыл бұрын
BrightBlueSummer yeah I think Grace definitely has pretty good skin besides the occasional spots. But then again I guess everything comes down to genetics and your environment. Yea I (still) am trying to get rid of acne lol. My acne is usually hormonal which unfortunately I can't really control besides eating less dairy and sugar. Also recently moved countries with a big difference in climates so my skin is kinda freaking out.

That video was so funny.😄🙌🏻 Here's some help you didn't ask for...and remember I'm a nurse so I know a bit about skin! And only trying to HELP so you don't waste your new fancy skincare! 🦋🥰 I noticed you used WAY TOO MUCH product. Truthfully, you should use a touch the size of a green pea. Just a tiny bit. We ALL use way too much, you aren't alone, Sweetie 😘 I used to be staioned in Okinowa Japan and I learned skincare at an Asisn spa. Asian skincare is best in the world. That's first she said "use on a tiny drop and not coverup the pores to heavily". You can always use more if you need. That pot of mask that costed $25 should have been 5 or 6 masks at minimum!! Serious!! You want to do very thin layers so your skin can breathe too. The spots afterwards happen because you can CREATE spots with skincare if you put on too thick. And the eye cream in the wand/tube...You were supposed to use the wand to wipe on the cream.😄 NO FINGERS under your eyes ever. If your eye cream has no wand (and is in a pot) use a Qtip. Please remember, the skin under your eye is the thinnest of anywhere on your face.🙂 Most importantly you ate the prettiest girl in world. Especially on the INSIDE and that's the ONLY place that matters!🥰🦋 We love you so much here in the ER Room.💕 I am praying over you. ✝️ For you every single day! Love you Sister.💕🦋🥰🙏🏻

Grace, two things this video made me think about that no one else would care about haha Firstly, i had a super chilled day as well, just laid in the garden for a few hours listening to a relaxing English countryside video, just sorta disassociating so i was back in my favourite woods, super nice! But also, i was in a relationship, it was only 2.5 months long, but it was my first real life one, second ever one, and until the day we unexpectedly broke up, things were great and i was so happy, one of the things i was saddest to lose and miss the most is his family, to put it kindly, i don't come from a good family background, and where i have always been alone i thought i was okay with that, but eating meals at a table with his family while we talk, laugh and tell jokes, then are all sitting on sofas watching a movie and ocassionally commenting on it, sharing our thoughts afterwards, then sharing goodnights, i didn't realise how much truly happier that made me, and how much i miss it, it is very nice seeing your family dynamic but it also bittersweet

I love content from both Sanne Vloet, and you, so this was a dream video for me- and I didn't even know I wanted it! I love your inner turmoil over whether or not to have a Cornetto! Your relationship with food is really healthy, and one of my favourite things about your content is the reinforcement of "Give your body what it needs, everyone's body is different". I have also recently joined the face mask clan and I can recommend Indian healing clay- I got another brand than the famous one, and I'm very happy- my bag still looks like I've barely touched it after months of masks, and I think it has improved my acne prone skin. It sounds like a faff to mix it yourself, but I just keep a mug and a plastic spoon in the bathroom, and combine a spoon of powder with a spoon of apple cider vinegar or water (or 1/2 and half). The variation is because ACV makes it smell quite dodgy and is tougher on your skin.
