If you want your cat to sleep in the cat bed, put something that smells like you in there and then just keep putting treats in there to associate good things with it. Not a guarantee but that's what got my cat to use his cat tower! Edit: Also placement of the cat bed helps. Put it next to a window where you can get stimulation while laying in it

Put catnip in the bed and put the cat near the bed so they'll notice it! You can also use the spray for less mess. Alternatively, if they have a favorite toy as well. Edit: A lot of cats really like high places and windows, so yours may not prefer that one. But, maybe you can put it near a window ?

The key to cats using beds is putting them in places they’re already interested in and rooms you usually are in. Like your office, and you put the bed close to your desk or the sofa you work from. Or if you spend a lot of time in the living room near the sofa or your favorite armchair. And if you place the bed in the bedroom the cat is not going to use it as much when you’re not there sleeping. Also key is put beds in places where the sun hits, cats love the sunlight. That one looks more like a cave so I would put it close to you no mater the brightness, maybe even against the sun for moments Atlas wants to sleep hidden away. I wouldn’t worry too much though, ypur cat is very young and right now just wants to play, he’llfall asleep everywhere.

A lot of cats like their owner's scent so a trick that I've used to get my cat to use the very expensive beds I buy them is to run any fabric in it through the wash first. Since I use the same detergent for my clothes, they associate that smell with muah and lay in it. Alternatively, you can shove an article of your own clothing (clean or dirty) in there and they will often just go lay on it. Not sure if Atlas has done this, but there have been countless number of times I've come across my cats laying in my laundry baskets. Btw, there is an impressive lack of cat hair on that all black outfit in your last workout. Tell me your secrets.

With summer finally kicking in, if I were a cat I would only lay on fresh floor tiles. P.S. We were having trouble getting our cat to stay in her cat bed. We noticed she like sleeping in my moms clothes hamper when she was gone to work. We think it’s because it smelled like her and she wanted that comfort. Needless to say, we threw one of my moms shirts in her cat bed, and she started sleeping in there a few times. She still like the clothes hamper, but at least the bed wasn’t a complete waste. I feel like at the end of the day, a cat is going to do what it feels like doing ❤️

In my experience, a cat won't use something you bought for them. My advice, give it another purpose, like storing something and then he will want it. Works with my cats all the time. Hope that helps

You need to place the cat bed close to where you spend a lot of time, as the cat wants to be near you. The same with scratching posts and such. You can try some dried catnip or catnip spray on the pillow to attract some interest, though not all cats respond much to catnip spray.

I would put the cat’s favorite blanket on his new bed. Or your t-shirt (it’s comforting to Cats). Also catnip works. If he still refuses to go in there, it might be the placement of his bed. I would check it’s not close to a candle or something that has a scent. Also I would check for sounds. If it’s close to the outside door Cats might not like the sound of strange neighbors randomly walking/talking outside. But they would love a window close by so they can see from a safe place the trees and the birds.

Spray bed with catnip spray, sounds weird but i do this with all my cats new toys and beds and he loves it. they don’t like new things bc they smell new and different. You can try putting one of your blankets in it / around the cushion, or maybe try washing the cushion so it smells like your clothes/ house laundry. ❤️

You could try putting Atlas in his bed and that could show him that it's his and he's allowed to be there. I agree with some other comments of spraying it with a catnip spray and that could help him use it. I've had cats for the last 11 years of my life or so and some of them like stuff and others don't, they're picky creatures sometimes.

This workout style is in the realm of muscle isolation. Do cassey ho's HIIT pilates, aka PIIT XD so I gotta say when I was your age I was doing martial arts 3-5 days a week,w as always active and was like at the age of 26 (thinking bc I was always active and challenging my body) I could go on and do advanced PIIT right away. Oh I've done weight training, martial arts, volley ball, basket ball, belly dance, you name it! But when I did the muscle isolation I was DYING. Burpees were easy to me, your good old HIIT, easy, 4 hours of traditional Tae Kwon Do, easy, but the first time I did those hiit pilates, let me tell you...I felt that pain deep in my soul. Now at the age of 35 I went from doing one 15 min session at age 26, to now easily able to do two hours of PIIT or any variation of cassey's killer micro muscle isolation workouts. You gotta change it up to because your body gets so strong even weight training becomes so easy and you have to just up the weight ! Point is: It will get easier. But for now you will hate muscle isolation based workouts and hurt so 'good'. lol

I have hypermobility disorder and the tension/stiffness/pain is a common feeling. My go to used to be to stretch it out, but recently I have been challenging myself to work on my physical therapy instead of stretching because well the medical dr and my physical therapist told me to. So yes, i can attest to the pressure and tension and then when you start moving it relatively get's better.

Advice for cat bed. Do kitten rescue all the time. Cats love slick things, cardboard boxes, bed sheets, and the biggest one I found is leather. Cats absolutely love to lay on leather. The cat bed you have looks very soft and squishy hed probably actually like it more if you took the insides out. Hope that helps 💛

To get the cat to like the bed, take the bed , burn it. Go to your grocery store, get a box (no fluff or blankets needed just the box) make sure the bed is burned completely and put the box in its place. It should work.
