I'd love to see this done with viewer submitted decks with people trying to use the bot's... "intelligence", to their advantage. that and probably a ban on generic Link monsters for obvious reasons. I think less generic link monsters like Scareclaw Light-heart would be fine since the bots are much more limited in how they can fuck their board using them

Honestly based on this, I think the best deck would just be 3 Imsety, 3 King's Sarc, 3 of the field spell, 1 of each other Horus name, a bunch of 2000 attack normal summons, and a zero card extra deck

@@bencrandall-malcolm8303 that is a fair point, but they could also just not choose those decks because it would be so uninteresting, and they could even go as far as banning certain cards. I could also see an anti-meta strategy with stall, but I'm not 100% sure how that be built though. The first idea I had was a ton of battle traps, but that would probably be set 5 pass, chain 1 mirror force, chain 2 drowning, chain 3 dimensional prison, Chain 4 cylinder, chain 5 quaking.

What we've learned from this and the previous tournaments is that the bots simply cannot use link monsters at all. And pot of desires auto loses games for them. Decks like branded which would only ever use verte (if it wasn't banned) and something like horus which has a resource loop that can recover very easily from the bot wiping it's own field from existence will usually perform best Also the sky striker game was the saddest thing ever. I was laughing so hard when it cycled through all the names that I missed the part where it popped it's own kaina

Bots clearly need to be able to read the deck at any given time in order to actually process a "search for archetype". Like they can look at their deck like a hand and understand: "If I summon X which searches Y, I get to beat Z, so playing the low atk monster in atk is better then setting it."

I spent about 4 hours on 5 duels yesterday just hosing tenpai and Yubel in platinum with impcantation litmus doom swordsman...the best was taking the TCBOO the tenpai guys had in their own deck for some reason...scrubbed raid and begone knave plus grave of the superancient just makes yubel do their entire turn and then pass 17 times while stupidly returning their own cards to make it last longer. I had no pity. Perhaps they should read lol
