If you haven't tried it already, I highly recommend you try out Dante's Inferno. For a game that came out in 2010 it has the best looking cutscenes I've ever seen in a game. It's also got some really nice GoW-like fighting mechanics.

As a kid I got my hands on a collection of "battlefield" games. From 42 to 2042 it had em all. I loved battlefield 2, 1942, and Vietnam the most. Vietnam was dope AF. I stuck with them for SO long. Even hung in with hardline being so odd, and enjoyed it for what it was. Folks would say "battlefield or COD?" And I'd scoff and lean into a natural "Battlefield is superior because.." nowadays? It's more of a "I can't stand any of them..." response.

its frustrating since there's some features in this game that I think are great like calling in vehicles on the go and having the tank be a 4 seater really makes me feel like I can set up my tank really specifically depending on the map and stuff. I don't mind the specialists too bad but I think what they should have done is keep the 4 classes but have a few specialists per class, so your support guys can only use their corresponding guns and equipment but they still have their perks. that way you can tell which character is gonna have an RPG or a medkit but you can have a little diversity so some support guys are better at giving ammo and keeping guys stocked up while another is better at pure fire-power and damage reduction basically angel and Crawford, both can support but in their own ways. I personally love the addition of AI since I've wanted that since bf4, sometimes I just didn't feel like versing sweats and wanted to chill or drive around in the bad ass sounding tanks or practice my piloting skills. I hope with time they keep improving the game so it starts to feel like a proper upgrade to bf4. I love bf1 and bf5 but I prefer the more modern games

Been a fan since the beginning of the franchise with 1942. And recently I have been playing the crap out of BF4 just on xbox, even though it's forced 720p resolution, I will sit there for 5+ hours at a time without realizing it. I realized what made me prefer the older games. There's no pressure to complete a bunch of daily challenges, or be the best of the best, and the level design for most of the maps was so good I rarely feel lost or bored. I enjoy 2042, but it only hoods my attention for maybe an hour or two at a time. Just the other night I played BF4 from 8pm to like 6am ON THE SAME SERVER the whole time. How neat is that? I could see what maps were in rotation and I formed personal vendetta against other people in the server who were on all night with me...just having so much fun. I miss it all.

You can occasionally get the same players in a lobby if you wait the entire countdown and for the game to start next search for you in 2042. Most people leave and restart the search, so it won’t be many repeat players but enough to have some vendettas myself.

Any weapons, gadgets, vehicles, or Specialists in the Battle pass season are available in the game for anyone to unlock outside of the Battle pass at the start of the next season. The games formula just doesnt work. They can update so mutch stuff it ll still be the same SHi... than before. There are just so many things happening all at once with all the heros, abilities, streaks, map layout (to open under these circutstances). It is impossible to have a good old clean gameplay with it, because the Players abilities simple is they can come from everywhere all at once where in bf 4 you know where the players are and you know how to flank them. In 2042 u are possible getting smacked by someone being behind you that wingsuited there and more. Also the ability to see through walls and stuff. The Tanks can be a rough chewgums also players can be too for tanks the other way arround and Tanks are not the good old quick action hard hitting truck that can be beat faster but is also a very deadly force. All in all there is just to mutch stuff happening on the Map in case of mobility for each player. What makes the other games good is their boots are actually on the ground once they are stranded and the highly intense combat moments just arent in 2042 Litterly 12:50 for example

That's something that is so rare these days that it minus well be a non issue. BF4 did have some shit maps, especially within their DLCs that made spotting people somewhat hard but not as hard as MW2019 or BFV. Other than that, what is the issue? They're necessary for learning how to engage with players. Maybe you're talking about the issue with BFV's where each character would blend in with any class? Yeah that is an issue, but nobody likes BFV. If they do, then they're part of the problem. Yes, BFV had some good things in it, just like how BFH had good things in it, but it's all overshadowed by the bad.

@@troypowers750 the problem its, mostly. why it matters? like theres dozens of games what lack of "CLASS" distention lets say WW3 for example or HLL for both spectrums, you cannot tell what that tropper its about to do just looking at it, and still people can play with no much complains same for factions skins In ww3 they used the same glowstick cuz both sides have the same skins, no one complain about that. In other more hardcore FPS they rely on teammate names to prevent FF cuz at distance the uniform of the troopers are hard to tell and i put locker as example cuz the map its so dark what you can play a whole match of USA v USA with everyone be the same Assault class and nobody can tell the difference and play like nothing cuz we are used to the indications "like slightly darker enemy players" in an almost pitch black enviroment you know what its ironical, what at any distance, i can tell what specialists its each skin in this game, the medics in this game are so easy to tell appart from previous games, same goes to all other specialists, considering what it matter more the role they are using vs what they use to kill you, i can say specialist execute the identification of enemies from allies pretty easily despite there are literally red skins

I have not played the Game on PC however half of the glitches I've seen in this video are so rare for me. I play on the Xbox Series X and these glitches practically never occur for me and I found it a coincidence that all of em were found on PC. In my opinion the game is actually alright on Xbox Series X, on PC it might be weird because of specs.

Been playing on ps4, and I have way more battlefield moments now it's really fun. Specialists suck though. Best thing that happened to me in the last few matches: landed as MCkay on orbital on an enemy anti-air tank, but had no c4, so I just drove with them across the field. Then, another enemy McKay saw me, tried to grapple onto the anti-air while it was driving full speed down the way to the rocket, and I shot them mid-air. I felt the battlefield theme in my veins in that moment.

Basically, the free tiers of the Battlepass, contain all the new seasonal content that can be unlocked like guns, equipment, vehicles, etc. Once that season goes away, you can still unlock all that content by completing certain assignments(if you weren't able to to begin with). Basically, the Premium part of the Battle Pass has cosmetics while the free one has the content. That wasn't a skin for the concussion grenade, that was the concussion grenade.

Ive been playing this game a lot recently and I must say that it really isn't all that bad, well for me at least. The customization options for the weapons and vehicles make it more worth using other weapons and vehicles. The operator part of it isn't all that bad, cuz one operator makes you feel like spider man. To make the game fun I almost exclusively run dozer just to fuck with people. No one expects how fast you can swap to your primary from your shield (same can’t be said the other way around.) Although at the same time melee hit registration, the hit box for melee, and the delay are all complete garbage. I mean, if you are bashing a riot shield the size of a crouched man you would expect the melee area to be broad, but no. It’s a small pinpoint you have to aim perfectly.

I actually never had a problem with the maps being to big maybe for conquest but on brakethrough I was aways in combat being shot at and it was fun the 124 player mode was good but know it’s back to normal and doesn’t feel special anymore

I have Battlefield 2042 and the thing is wenn it launched it was buggy so everybody thinks it’s terrible. But EA fixed 99.9% of most bugs and the game is actually great but people think it’s bad because wenn the game launched it was a big buggy.

It's so funny (or sad, actually) how I could instinctively see which maps were new and which were ported over from previous games. Within 2 seconds of seeing gameplay of a new map I was like "Hey this map looks a lot better than the previous crap... oh okay it's Caspian Border from BF3". "Hm now this map looks more intricate... ah BC2, I see." And still those ported maps are objectively worse than the original ones they were ported over from, to make such a thing possible, to take something good, directly copy it and still make it worse, is quite an achievement.
