I do agree with Shroud on one thing, the sound of footsteps doesn’t really exist. I’ll be recovering shields in a corner doing nothing else but listening and eyeing the screen and my radar and I still won’t hear someone drop to my side and get a back assassination

I'm convinced it's server related. I bought Dolby access thinking it was a surround sound, frequency issue. No change. I hear foot steps in Academy... but nothing in Multiplayer. It's probably related to Desync. The server has us in different positions so we never hear in time, cuz to the server they aren't there. lol. That's my guess...

Shroud is just so used to how other games play. He pushes everything, even when his shields are down and doesn't understand to shoot body first and then head. He would just have to play it consistently to get it.

I understand the shields block headshot damage, but why shoot body first? Less chance to miss?

Exactly. Shields deplete from any shot and it is easier to hit the body. Once the shields are gone, (weapon dependant) one shot to the head will kill or usually 3 more body shots.

You wanna be aiming for chest while strafing, then on your 4th burst jump and hit the head, but the last halo I played seriously was 3 so it might be different now

Ik shroud complains about mouse having slight aim assist and while there should be a toggle for it for players like him, personally as a casual player I barely notice it, it just feels like I can finally hit my targets… granted I think they tuned it down from when it initially got added cause it felt even better when AA dropped but with out the slight aim assist fighting higher ranked controller players on mouse was ROUGH. Unless you were like a god at tracking, you were basically at the mercy of controller players

Practiced controller players with aim assist and map knowledge will definitely make it seem like that,in that gamemode. Realistically go snipers or swat I understand those are more for fun games but it's still halo, don't really think shroud would be bottom fragging..

plus Pierre Hintze, the guy who led fixing MCC is in charge for a few months and has really built momentum to get the game where it's at now. The studio is a lot smaller now and the worst contributors to the old 343 were either fired or moved to Mobile games or other ventures. Still cant compete with good controller players, the aim assist is strong enough to actually track your strafe, hitting all your shots on a strafing target on kbm is significantly harder and impossible to do consistently

@@tryharderpls for a casual player I'd say the opposite m&k is much easier. You can easily tell who are you fighting against when you manage to ambush someone and you can see if they instantly flick on to you or they're slowly turning around with their controller, this is especially apparent with vehicles such as warthogs, I'd go as far to say that controller players don't stand a chance in a warthog fight against k&m players

As someone that used to play level 50 MLG on halo 3 with Summit, Ninja, Nadeshot, Naded and all that gang even being from the UK. (I also appeared on an MLG ESPN TOP 10 killing one of pros). It was a different time back then so we'd match up being level 50. It's so good to see one of the OG's playing Halo again. Gaming hasn't been the same since the Halo days. (I'm massively into CSGO aswell lol). I can't play this new Halo, doesn't feel like Halo 1, 2 or 3 and with it being on PC it feels weird. I'm a massive PC gamer due to CSGO but Halo feels weird but I refuse to play with my xbox controller.
