Playlists such a ranked are getting awfully made forge maps thrown into them that don’t belong and ruin the competitiveness. Still missing legacy features, content and playlists such as assassinations, playable elites and firefight, invasion, grifball etc.. Theater is still completely broken two years later and split screen coop cancelled even tho it was a promised feature. All the things that have been added to this game that you bozos keep pretending is a W are things that we’d have day one at launch with halo titles that had half the dev time and came out over a decade ago.

I dunno man, he looked pretty neutral to miserable for most of it besides whenever he got multikills. Infinite is still a shell of what the original trilogy once was. I play the Master Chief Collection almost weekly, but I can't get myself to enjoy Infinite even when they try to undo all their fuckups by doing this like creating a playlist with old maps and original BTB settings. The sooner this game dies (some may argue it died already a while ago) the better, because then hopefully they can give the franchise to an actually talented studio that has a shot at returning Halo to its former glory.

It also helps it isn't 12v12 chaos but 8v8 instead. Who knows, maybe Infinite can get enough love and popularity again to actually have the devs add new dev build 8v8 maps

I'm convinced either 343 doesn't understand what halo players want or they just intentionally downplay the old maps and stuff out of ego. Like the excitement Summit has for playing that halo 2 map, I didn't even know they had these maps in the game until randomly clicking someone talking about the current state of halo is better than what people think. Imo I have said this since they were losing players, what would have sparked an infinite comeback is if they had just marketed an entire season off old maps, the main problem with the game to me was lack of maps, market a handful of classic maps being added to the game, an entire ranked playlist of the fan favorite classics, you'd have so many halo players be psyched and excited to be getting what they want, instead all of this flew under the radar and people still think it doesn't have any content.

@@DaGalaxyBoy Well it seems they didn't have the means to do this, but imo like a year after launch an entire nostalgia bait season would work with halo. I started playing xbox live on halo 2, I still remember the day I got xbox live, nothing would bring me more happiness than to recreate that feeling, they ruined it with MCC, this could have been their opportunity to do it right but ruined it here too. I feel like the majority of halo players are somewhat older that still believe halo 3 is the greatest game of all time. Especially when you see the horseshit maps on infinite, new old maps would be cherished. Recycling old ideas is a valid argument, but it hasn't been done right yet. I think many people would have been like me and lost their minds at an entire nostalgia season, I would have played the fuck out of that and be thankful to 343 for giving this back to me, and would have regained a percentage of players lost. At this point I think the game is just too far gone, it's in everyone's minds that it was bust and nothing can change it, they need to move on to another new halo game. It's just very sad what's happened to halo. Imo the content is there, the gameplay is there, even tho there are a mountain of other problems, if they had just continued to update the game I think this would have been the biggest halo since halo 3.

You keep dropping your second weapon for some reason, did you already figure that out? You have the drop weapon action assigned to some key you're hitting unintentionally. On controller you hold the switch weapon button (Y) to drop weapons. Maybe your switch weapon key is set to drop weapon when you hold it?

Halo Infinite is kind of a double-edged sword when it comes to using keyboard. when you're just running around with weaponry its AMAZING to use just keyboard&mouse. but if you need to use a vehicle, a controller is the only way to maneuver efficiently.

Everything is better now in halo infinite, but the best part isn't just about all the improvements and add ons to keep adding variety and fun. It's that it has actually become a live service with new things all the time. That is what so many younger gamers look for and having all the essentials for a halo game will bring back and keep the hardcore halo fans from the past. I really enjoyed the add ons and changes that came with season 4 but season 5 has me even more hyped

Bro, when the Forge and classic maps outclass every original 343 studio map in both replay value and overall style/clarity. 343 loves to sacrifice clarity for visual fidelity and it gets on my tits. Halo was never about making to most graphically amazing maps, it was about how fun they play and how WELL they play. Halo 4 was nothing but over-designed, overly-detailed and cluttered visual that look good in pictures but play like absolute liquid shit.

I honestly think halo infinite is a great game also is kinda like a remake of old halo.Cause everything is kinda same.But the problem is people played too many variety of games these days that arena shooter type of games doesnt make them happy anymore and they easily gets bored without even playing it much.Thats why still do this day streamers are playing Battle royals cause people like to watch that gameplay over arena shooters.But also seeing somebody playing a game is different and playing urself is more different.Sometimes streamers dont like battle royals but they forcefully play it cause its good to watch but not fun to play.

I was addicted to halo infinite for months until it just felt so boring playing the same maps over and over, you look at comp, they're still playing those same maps and game types that were at the 'beta' launch. I'd come back after taking a break and think this is so fun until quickly realizing I'm just playing the same thing over and over and I've already done this. They just didn't make the game with longevity in mind. It's too easy to get to the highest rank, most people got the highest rank and stopped playing. Launched with a lack of game types. Needed more maps. Store and in game content was trash. Aim assist was too strong. You'd think it's the battle royale craze that killed arena shooters but Valorant is still top twitch, CS has a shit load of players, ranked cod mw2 was pretty popular, I think there is a large audience that wants something different from br and what halo offers but it has to be done well and with updates. In todays gaming world I think the game they made did exactly how it would be expected, have a few months of shelf life before everyone is bored and leaves. You can't have an update with 1 new map and expect people to be excited, they need a whole new gaming experience with a whole new playlist of maps, which I'd think should be easier than they've made it out to be. It's sad, infinite was a great game that just didn't have the right team making it.
