Still one the the best CoD games to date. Weren’t really many S tier guns, grenade launchers and explosives had heavy nerfs from the previous game, interactive maps, unique attachments such as the flamethrower or master key. A well rounded game, and always worth a revisit. And you can’t forget the zombies!

So While every COD has diversity, in my experience this one was everyone running the same handful of meta guns. What the game has, and what people actually use are 2 different things was my point.

MW1 and 2 are the only ones I can think of that have a large amount of weapon diversity because there were more great weapons than there were bad weapons That said, BO1 is still amazing and one the absolute best.

You're both kinda right. I barely used anything but the FAMAS until I got to 15th prestige and then after that I tried everything. When I go back and play now my favourite guns are the Spas12, akimbo Skorpions, M60 w/ big Ammo and the Olympia.

You should host an event like once a month where you promote that you will be playing an older cod on a specific day and time so that we can all play that cod at that time in hopes to find you in a public match for fun. Also there may be a slight chance of the devs seeing that every so often there's a spike in players in the older cods. With the dream that maybe they'll remake those older cods 🙂

This probably won‘t be the case with zombies though. Corporate Greed is fucking disgusting and there‘s a reason why it‘s labeled a deadly sin… idk, I‘m just tired of these new cods.

@@Lucifer_Summons That’s actually understandable and good to hear :) WW2 actually was not that bad of a game, especially the music is superb tbh. The problem on the pc versions of these older cods is that they just are not secure anymore and activision does not give a shit. They still sell at a normal price in stores. It would be a somewhat easy fix as well… These mfs are the reason I will abandon gaming after almost 20 years just because they have to squeeze the last fucking dollar out of us.

This is when the bickering from some players really started to catch on and they started nerfing aspects of the game. Like disabling the slight of hand functionality for sniper rifles, and not allowing the detonation of C4 mid air.

I loved the dragunov, it was a head shot machine, in the early stages of the game i can remember having like 300 kills with it and like 210 of them were headshots. Great game. But world at war still my favourite. A remake of that would be amazing.

I used to play a Free2Play FPS called Soldier Front and one of the most iconic snipers was the PSG-1. I was very happy when I saw it in BO1. Not the best sniper but still very fun. The PSG-1 in MWII/III isn't the same.

I’ve always said they should switch up the eras every year just to keep the games fresh. I like boots on the ground I like advanced movement but not two games or three games in a row. It should be 1x ww2, 1x modern, 1x near future. 1x future. Not in that order but they got enough studios to make it happen. And I understand they need help but none of the other studios should get any say in what happens when it’s not their turn. Some people are suggesting IW and Treyarch have joint decision in cod 2024 but it could be a rumour but either way, it shouldn’t be like tha.
