In this video titled I Formed THE ROMAN EMPIRE As BYZANTIUM In EU4 I play as Byzantium in Europa Universalis 4. This could also be viewed as an EU4 Byzantium guide. In this playthrough as Byzantium my ultimate goal is to form The Roman Empire, complete the Byzantium mission tree and conquer all of the provinces that were once owned by The Roman Empire. This might not be as popular an idea, but maybe play as one of the countries that got skipped over in A-Z due to not technically having unique ideas, like Dai Viet (which has a pretty sizable mission tree and unique content)? Could go for their unique achievement, conquer all of China, et cetera.

Master of trade: - complete Venice mission tree; - Venice must be the richest trade node in the world; - be most powerful in trade node on every continent (subcontinent); - be most powerful in every trade node from the previous ones up to Venice; - try not to be too big (also no too many vassals); - complete merch ideas (why not?) and try to use merchs a lot (nice change in comparison to most of your games); - colonies are welcome. May be idea for A to Z also. Also may be made with Hamburg/Lubeck/Genoa or anything else similar.

Being an indian and I know that the game's name is europa universalis😅😅...but would like to see a mega conquest from india till constantinople in the west and till beijing in the east (nice borders btw)..you can choose any major indian state..but I think start as Mewar, form Rajputana..stay as Rajputana..since Bharat focus tree is meh..try doing this. I got a unique/fun custom nation challenge for you. Try making a Caucasian, Coptic, Stateless society that starts in Firenze/Florence. But, the key here is you start with the increased governing compasitity idea; the rest can be some mix of attrition, max attrition, defensive fort bonus, and whatever you want beyond that. Tuscany is an amazing start, and the goal would be to take/state the whole Genoa trade node, and convert it all into coptic/Caucasian. That and, of course, take defensive ideas. Bonus if you take Alexandria and any other coptic sites in a stateless crusade. You'll never have such a defensive powerhouse of a nation. Really fun and unique; I highly recommend you give it a shot before eu5.

It quite easy to make Constantinople the wealthiest trade node in the world. You just need to use your merchants to force trade into the node from crimea, persia, egypt, and basra(pulling in trade from hormuz and gujarat is also helpful). By doing this you not only make Constantinople the wealthiest node, you also kill the wealth going into the Venice and Genoa nodes.

You know, Navarra's queens played a huge role on the protestant reformation and the french wars of religion. Why don't you do a series playing as Navarra and conquering the regions of Iberia and France and the Benelux, being the defender of the reformed faith, winning the league war for the protestant side, converting as much of the hre to protestant as you can. In case you lose the league war, you need to destroy the HRE. A bonus goal would be to bring the reformation to Italy and kick the pope out of Rome

As Dithmarschen, complete the National Missions (the left two columns of the mission tree) complete the requirements for the Lessons of Hemmingstedt achievement (even if you already have the achievement) and if the revolution spawns, you must ally the first country to become revolutionary.

By the way you can get some pretty insane trade income if you have your merchants steer trade. Since a merchant pushing trade multiplies the trade value pushing forward by 105% and that stacks. And you can get that higher with more caravan power i believe

If you want to do a long campaign something like Protestant Sweden or Hussite Bohemia and pass all HRE reforms (or vassalswarm HRE) seems wonderful. You rarely see an actual religious league war with something at stake for the player.

Shouldn't you also take Transylvania, as it was part of the Roman province of "Dacia" back then? 2. missed opportunity to name your Flagship "The Roman Hawk" For what I would like to see, as you don't colonize much in your videos: Form the Spanish Colonial Empire! Only take the needed provinces in Iberia for forming spain and otherwise colonize in middle and south america and also the philipines! As a finisher, to show your timeline is the better one, have a final war against england/Great Britain to show superiority and destroy their entire fleet!

Asian Domination: Form Qinq or Yuan control all of asia ( conquer or vassal). Highest trade note . No nation in asia has more than half of your development. complete as much of the EoC Mission tree as possible.
