When the three of us were kids (all in our 30's now) our Dad would wait with us in the mall for the store to open to get the new ones, we all had our own binders and our Dad would sell the duplicates on ebay to keep the hunting going, man was and still is an absolute legend of a Dad/Grandpa

One of my favorite memories as a kid, was my mom and I went to a card shop looking for some of the final singles I needed to complete the original 151, and I bought a base set pack. The shop owner said I bet your charizard is in this pack. Sure enough, cracked into it and there it was. Love these older pack openings. Just all the nostalgia.

When I was seven for reference I’m fourteen now I got this tin and it had my favorite Pokémon grind ha in it I remember me telling my mom saying I’m gonna get the greninja and guess what I did and that was one of the best pulls I’ve ever had

My favorite memory was, my parents were separated and my dad worked in a comic book shop when Pokemon cards first came out. So I would save my allowance and buy cards with it. I always got first crack at the new cards when they came out and I really wish I would have still had them lol

Wow this brought back memories, I Loved KBToys. You were able to find stuff there that you wouldn't really find anywhere else. Some of my favorite memories collecting was when I was a kid and me and my friends would get packs and see who could get the cooler cards. Also the hunt to get all the toys from Burger King was Awesome!!!!

While I'm new into collecting Pokémon mainly due to VStars and the Japanese Alt Arts. I remember as a kid doing boy scouts derby racing right in front of our malls KB Toys. After the derby races, we got to go in KB toys and spend our allowances. It was always a fond memory.

Anyone my age from the uk will remember being able to go to Woolworths and get pokemon cards (and pick and mix), such a shame all these places from when we were a kid are gone. So much nostalgia both from the cards and the shops themselves.

The nostalgia is so strong when watching videos like this. My favorite memory of card collecting as a kid was how excited I was when I pulled the Base Set Charizard. I was only around 8 yrs old and it felt so good to get it. Needless to say, I wish I still had the card. lol

My favorite memory is when my friend and I walked to Walmart after school and found some blisters of Legend Maker. I ended up pulling a reverse holo Mew (which is my favorite Pokemon) from a single pack that I bought with my allowance. I still have it to this day and always think of that moment when I look at the card.

Man kb toys packs are so iconic. My favorite collecting memory as a kid was we used to go to Kmart to buy packs and it was right next to a Fazoli’s so we would get packs and go sit down and eat and open them and I’ll never forget pulling a first edition Holo dragonite from fossil in a Fazoli’s and losing my mind screaming as a kid 😂

It was a beautiful time with beautiful cards. I’m actually a few years young for actual base set cards. But I have hundreds of 2nd edition cards in a binder I’ve had tucked away from my brother who collected cards. Luckily my dad kept them for me because I’ve recently got back into cards and have been getting to experience them all over again

My favorite memory was going into the shops when the original 150 came out and we used to beg my mum to by us some. Eventually she brought us some and it was just fun being able to trade with one other and find people at school to trade with. Time used to be so much simpler back then. People weren't trapped on their phones and people actually cared etc

Never made it to a KB Toys - only Toys R Us near me growing up but I remember doing yard work to make money for packs back in the day. Distinctly remember pulling a holo dragonite from a fossil pack I bought with lawn money! Great nostalgic video, Rev!
