I Found an ABANDONED BMW Supercar at the Salvage Auction. It's Been Sitting for YEARS!

I went to the local Salvage Auction with Rich Rebuilds and stumbled upon the abandoned BMW i8 that has been sitting at this auction for what is likely over 2 years now. While we were there we saw some other cool cars including a Hellcat, a Porsche Panamera Executive, BMW M3, Maserati Granturismo a Tesla Model X and many more!

That’s not true , I have a Maserati with 45000 miles and only 2 engine replacements, all the parts in the interior replaced, all glassware , buttons, front lights, front suspension , half of the buttons, 6 electrical issues, countless trim pieces, all leather trim, and rust. But it looks like new, because is under warranty.

The 1st car in your video is the Australian Holden SS commodore, this vehicle was also produced as a left hand drive for export to the USA. The longer wheel base version that was called the statesman here was sold in the USA as well. have seen some used as Police cars over there.

It's like 70k for a low mileage, used one, which is pretty much new It's kinda of a bargain now in italy, you pay a lot less taxes because it's hybrid (with any car 250hp+ not hybrid it's more than 1000€ a year)

I worked (thanks Corona) at a car lot/ tow company/impound yard. Title issues are a bitch, as is claiming abandoned cars. Between title bs with title pawns, mechanic leans, bankruptcies/court appearances, government seizures, divorces, falsified titles, mismatched VINs, etc, it was a PITA!!! Also, purchasing auction vehicles with $100 monthly "sit" fees and payoff at sale. Take $800 down payment, immediately pay auction car price plus tag/title plus taxes (7% of state value), everything not a cash sale is instant loss. Bond, license fees, compliance issues with yearly law changes... Not businesses for lazy peeps. I have no idea how salvage lots just pump cars out so quickly for auction with all the legal hoops. I guess they just deal with reputable insurance companies. The cheapo companies take forever, if you can even get them via direct call, fax, email, text, etc. Blech
