Navigation was pretty fast and audio quality was (for my ears listening to MP3 in crappy earphones) pretty good. Just video playback was odd: it would only support .AVI files with .MP2 audio (yes, MP2, NOT MP3) and up to *20* FPS .XviD video, with some specific b-frame and i-frame limitations that I don't remember anymore. I went quite deep into testing and probing around the files that it supported back then, to not rely on the weird converter programs that were provided otherwise.

You know, I never knew how cool iPods were until I discovered your channel a few months ago when I got a busted iPod from a friend that needed a drive, and was looking for a repair guide on YT. But I never expected watching an Aussie repairing iPods to be funny! And the iPod I got was a 5th gen classic, and I replaced the battery, and put in an iFlash kit w/128 gig sdcard. Keep up the great content!
