The thing with those older mp3 players is they only support certain types of older tag file formats, so it was kinda expected that the mp3 song name was ypS ypO ypY since he's using a newer song. If you look up info on how the mp3 tags work there's so many formats, the most prominent are ID3v1 ID3v2 ID3v2.4 ID3v3, and then you'd have to factor in the format of the text in that tag whether it was unicode UTF-8 or UCS or ASCII. Back in the 2000's I use to use a Linux program to make sure the tag files were in the correct format so they'd sort correctly.

The Craig is a classic S1MP3 player from back in the day. I used to work on a project to make replacement firmware for it. It ended up going nowhere as there were so many devices with the same firmware, but were all wired differently, and each firmware file had to be custom made by the manufacturer to work on their device. It'll be based on the Actions ATJ2085 chipset.
