I found this tryhard who jumped two players in paleto bay. That's when I decided to try placing my kosatka beside the yacht which has the missile defense system on. Long story short, this was a really angry tryhard and didn't like my tactics on gta online.

You can just leave the defense on. As long as you dont get a wanted level, you will be safe to do whatever you want from the sub. Oh and its the sparrow that can by pass the defense. It loses its lock on ability but can fly right up and free aim you, the boat or the sub.

Oh yeah. I do this a lot when I was playing. I think the yacht will prevent explosive sniper damage to sub if the yacht is in between. Aside from Sparrows, the only vulnerability is the sub-cars. My yacht though, has blown up a toredor that launched itself out of the water :) Yacht defenses are disabled if you have a wanted level OR if you get in the sub driver's seat...when you get up, make sure your yacht defenses are turned back on. Yacht defenses are not disabled when you sit in the missile seat. I park the sub tail near the yachts watercraft so anyone with a lock (Sparrow) can easily mistarget and shoot your jetskis - since the sub target area is towards the rear of the sub

One thing with the yacht defences is if you trigger the cops they get off automaticaly, you have to check if they are on once in a while.

I did this with a group of randoms on a GRAND scale. Most of us were rich, have everything, and just find things to do. They were having so much fun in chat on the yacht so I asked to join and made some new friends. We were chilling in the hot tub when a couple griefers show up and blew us up. Most of them knew this strategy already and almost all had Khanjali's so we had yacht owner turn defenses on whlle we made a circle around the yacht with the subs. They tried to attack from underneath and the ones of us in subs, grabbed our Toreadors, blew them up, and policed the underbelly of our fortress. I and a few others stayed back on defense, some on Toreadors, some finding and shooting at them with missiles. Our aerial forward team ultimately forced their rage quit. I believe someone in our group. dropped a Who's next? Hell..it was probably me because of love challenging griefers. Rawsee is my tag in GTA (PC) if anyone reading this finds the story oddly familiar. That was soo fun. Keep on anti-griefing!

Put the Kosatka on the other side of the yacht, makes it harder for them to stay just out of anti aircraft range and spam missiles at it. Yacht acts like a shield. Then you can toggle defenses on/off to snipe from the deck with cover if needed. My brother and I used to spend hours trolling like this.

Putther a quick suggestion maybe you should use the rouge plane it may look weak but it’s pretty good it can take 3 homing and 3 explosive cannon rounds if 100% armor if you are a decent pilot with the right upgrades you can get away from missiles( basically the jet lazer strat but instead of going in circles sideways u do it by going up )and I have killed many lazer jet griefers in it . Might be a good plane to use while fighting a griefer. It can even drop little treats >:)

The other night I did something similar where me and my girlfriend were riding a sparrow in the middle of a fight and this guy gets an mk2 to come after us after I told her to bail, the helicopter spun out of control while he was on his mk2 heading toward me and the blades of my heli actually killed him.... It could've been worse :) I got booted twice in a single night, after my router recovered from the first boot, I messaged the guy well done, he fried my router after, and my wifi would not come back on and it wouldn't connect. I got a new router the next day and and wifi problem was fixed Instantly. I left him alone after 😂

1st sorry for this being so long but fun fact Putther, if u spam your reload button/melee button as soon as u answer the payphone u can skip the cutscene. I've been on the "recieving" end of a similar strategy before - someone randomly killed me, I found out they were firing missiles from their submarine halfway across the map at anyone they could. I try to go over in a Buzzard and they're using a similar strategy. Three other players got shot down right in front of me. I just entered the yacht's firing range when I bailed into the water and popped passive mode to avoid being obliterated myself. Later, I watch other Kosatka missiles slamming into it until the aggressive one is wrecked. Then the guy left. Good strategy...as long as another Kosatka user doesn't drive their missiles at you or you don't somehow get bombed from above by, say, an Avenger or something. Solid to use. Not so solid to be a victim of. TLDR; It's scummy but it's effective
