Hey Brant, Great catch and cook first off! Second, as for the trash site, depending on the county, (SR or ESC), maybe a phone call can get the Trustee's out there. I know that they do some weed eating work along the bridges in Cantonment.

You need to plant some food in that backyard 🎉. Make an aquaponics system and grow vegetables using fish you can harvest for food. Even fish them for fun, then eat them 😂😊

Went out fishing on the gulf recently. I had expected to get finger mullet with my cast net, although I'd brought along squid and shrimp. I didn't see a single mullet the entire time I was there. Usually catch the finger mullet by shore easily. It was weird. Also, all the small trout kept stealing my bait repeatedly. Pretty frustrating.

Roland martin said the largest small mouth he ever caught, came out of a reservoir in maryland. The largest small mouth I ever caught came out of that very same reservoir. And in September, I hooked my personal best large mouth in that reservoir, and I'm pretty sure it would have crushed the state record, but I didn't get him in the boat. Sad, sad day.

Brant, you already know this but every hole w/ water down there has something that will "BITE" within..... lol, if nothing else the mosquito's that will be birthed today? That said, I saw a man in Houston catching small catfish thru a drain on the street in a subdivision. He was showing like you are, the random holes that can produce a bite. But I think you know lots of places from growing up that have fish? Yup, the hard to get to places can hold some impressive fish. You never fail the mission. peace
