The first apartment is amazing! Even with the mess, you can see the character and space. I hope they don't ruin it like they did the 2nd apartment. I hate when landlords renovate the character out of an apartment.

@@MsTellitlikeitis48WithTheTea you mean rent ? 1 bedroom apartment in Helsinki is about 700 euros. Post service wage is about 2000 euros. Other living costs example internet is about 20 euros.. simple groucery shopping for one is about 100 euros for week 🤗

Good Morning Cash. I'm going to save today's video in the hopes that there will be a part 2. Please return to Apt 1 when the renovations have been completed; especially since it takes up the entire floor. I get on Charles Monroe's case when he tours a unfinished apt; but you were clearly surprised about the condition of the apt. So I won't admonish you. Apt 2 was small but cute. Even though it had 2 bedrooms, it would be better suited for one tenant. Use the 2nd bedroom as a walk in closet; especially since it is so small. Love the new lens.

The BONES of the first place are GLORIOUS!!!!! That apartment is built to host soirees!! Party house!!! Or, you know, become a center of of social connections of people who love books. Because those rooms were made to hold a library's worth of book shelves. A book store? New York has a crying need for good book stores. Places where book people can go and talk to each other. You remember books, don't you?

First one seemed to be on its way; the kitchen was renovated with granite surfaces and had a dishwasher, something you don't often see in older rental apartments. And what a treat to have a HUGE bedroom with a working(?) fireplace facing away from the street. Second one had all the mod cons, although I wasn't partial to the location of the laundry units; clearly a full-size dishwasher and perhaps a cabinet were sacrificed to make room for one of those machines with the other stacked on top. Wine fridge was a bit pretentious, but maybe the landlord wanted to attract a certain type of tenant to justify the rent.

Congrats on the new wide-angle lens! Although tbh I'm nervous that it's gonna make the smaller apartments look much bigger than they are, just like every misleading Streeteasy listing ever. The biggest first apt is awesome but not sure what kind of job you could find that fulfills the formula for qualifying. You better negotiate for the longest lease you can grab because the cost of that beauty is eventually going to sky rocket. The square footage in that place says it all. Thanks for saying the price!

Good looking out in regard to that snazzy new cam!! In full agreement on fact the lens is something else on the clarity scale! Excellent investment Cash!! SUPERFAB AS THE FIRST UNIT WAS . . . it's simply not worth anywhere near $3700 a month in rent or a mortgage!! Ginormous it is for sure but fact remains it's STILL AN APT!!! No way around this DETAIL!! For individuals who believe in the roomie syndrome the unit is superbly perfect👌!! And once all the reno is fully completed the entire unit (especially second living room) will become far more practical, useful, and impressive than it is at this point; bedroom seemed so standard for such a huge, classic apt ! Kitchen once thoroughly scoured by a professional cleaning crew will have FAB potential and space for comfort of more than one person at a time! Windows in living room are so beautiful in scale and light capabilities! And the proper window treatments will further enhance the obvious!! Upstairs unit was disappointing in size and NO TUB!!! And owner clearly expects to receive $2900 for rent every month????Completely unrealistic on his part!! So what it has new, somewhat high end appliances and finishings! Additionally it's overpriced based on size as well, especially when measured against the classic unit downstairs!! Wondering if every apt in bldg has been reconfigured to be contemporary or old school and serve both preferences, cause there certainly are an endless amount of tenants out there with firm NON-NEG'S regarding building and unit styles!! Both places are a hard PASS 👍👍for me due to rental rate exclusively!! Topping that the train is just too far from unit, nine minutes is too long if you already have health issues, and in particular walking problems, saw a fruit and veggie stand and a few other necessary businesses but no full scale grocery store, complete hospital, library, school, etc ! Yet both of these dwellings might be the perfect spot for SOMEONE!!! OK LADIES AND GENTS UNTIL THE NEXT EPISODE . . .MUST PAUSE HERE AND START GETTING READY FOR MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH WITH MY SON . . JUST GLAD I DONT HAVE TO DO ANY PREP FOR THE DELICIOUS BRUNCH AND (LATER THIS EVENING) DINNER THAT AWAITS ME!!😁😄
