Relax Paddy, compared to what most of us at home are experiencing with restrictions to our daily lives, watching you go about your daily business on beautiful Koh Samui is entertaining enough. Of course the occasional drone shots of the majestic beaches, coastline and countryside coupled with your cinematic and editing skills would be much appreciated too. 🙏

Glad to see you back Paddy, we miss you! Sometimes….. it’s just so important to take a break and it’s ok! Great for the psyche or overall wellness. This Samui Sidequest is Awesome!!! You know that your fans will always support you through the thick and thin😘 (ps- I ordered the olive green “follow your dreamy” T-shirt & it arrived a couple of days ago & my husband loves it😉) Look forward to your next vlog!

"Next level" for everyone is different....From skydiving to visiting restaurants. The most interesting ones (for me) are you just traveling along Thailand and having fun. Nobody cares about "next level", you can call it "no level adventures". Just have fun and we will too.

Very good rebrand. Great explaination for your absence and so sorry to hear of your struggles. KZbin can be brutal. Folks don't realize it's a 'job' and the editing process and creative process can be rough. For the record, it's rough all over. It's depressing for many of us, for different reasons. My work back in the US is hard, listening to tales of woe and no end in sight breaks my heart most days. KZbin vlogs are a respite.Being stuck out of Thailand, missing it, watching your channel (and others) help keep us sane. Travel porn has a purpose. Your personality is what makes the channel worth watching. Keep at it. Keep going. You got this!

I believe you have to stop thinking of KZbin as your business. I started watching your channel because you had fun, recorded the fun and let me be part of the fun. I think you have to stop trying to provide content for us the subscribers, and rather look for the things you liked to do in the first place. If you put pressure on yourself to find content for us, it might come across as forced and not personal. I like you and your personality, the fun you have and the life you live. Do that and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your life a lot more. KZbin might provide you with an income, but it shouldn’t be the business you think it has to be. What I’m trying to say is, I wish I could help you to be yourself, because that’s the guy I want to see and follow. Have fun !

It is a business and its needed income to be able to do this in the first place. he refused to do the sponsored adverts/promo because people would moan and what he had to do to make that up is provide more content. But as he says here, to stay in the KZbin algorithms and get consistent views and recommended to people, you have to keep being a regular content creator, its a catch 22 situation really.

not sure if you care to read this, but i worked for over 15 years with ppl in all sorts of traumatic situations and i was good, i might add. but it can hurt to read the facts and i am aware of that. this never stoped me from being straigh out into their faces. look, you could sit in mongolia, argentinia or wherever, we watch because of YOU. it is your *spirit* that we wonna see. for my example, thailand is not even on my bucketlist. go find a guy called *tich man tue* and do what he is doing. i promise you will feel better for good !!! *stop thinking* and go with the huge heart of yours rather !!! i can also promise that this works, no matter what you do. you got this bright smile, you got this unconditional kindness, you got the handsomeness, you got this urge to give ppl some nice expieriences, YOU GOT ALL IT TAKES. you can not go wrong as long as you go with your heart and never ever with your head !!! film flowers, film more pineapples, film each others interviews because you got plenty of YT friends there, film whatever you want and share your thoughts, that is all we need. everyone knows about that C BS that is going on and we understand.

Been following you and the Budgeteers from the start and look forward to getting that notification that there is something new to watch. Been locked down for 17 mths and when I say lockdown I mean haven't left my home to go anywhere more than 10 times in all those mths. Seeing such a beautiful place and awesome people helps me so much. I planned a 6wk trip through Thailand starting September 17th and I am using your ebook to plan where to travel. To make a short story long 😂 - You could film this sort of video everyday and I would still call it next level. Well done! Happy you are back. Stay safe and thanks for uploading 🙂

So glad to see you back in action, Paddy. Watching your tour of the provinces reminds me of when I was your age, teaching and exploring Thailand back in the 70s/80s. So much has changed since then, and I’ve learned so much about those changes and what has stayed the same thanks to your vlog. Me and the missus are planning to return to Thailand and retire, hopefully about a year from now. So please, as soon as it’s safe to do so, finish your travels. I've travelled myself extensively around the Southern part of Thailand and its so great to see your fabulous vlogs of places that I've also been to and it just makes me want to return as soon as I can. All I would say about your health is that at least you recognised it was getting bad before it was too late. So, so pleased that you are now overcoming the issues and getting back to what you are not only very good at but you so enjoy doing. Please keep it up and you will feel miles better over the coming weeks. Take care.

Just found this. Didn't get a notification. Guess I need a technology lesson. Paddy, so sorry about your health issues. Although most of us would like to see a daily video you need to do what's right and healthy for you. We'll still be here . I think your personality is why many of us are hooked on your videos. Being stuck at home and not allowed to do much traveling sucks but many of us are "traveling" thru you. Whether you just go to a restaurant or walk on a beach we get to feel like we are there. Try not to feel pressure from all of us to do the videos. Take it slow and easy. Videos of restaurants, businesses, a day at the pool (although not one with a kids birthday noisy party ha) sound fine to me and I'll bet many of the others here that want to someday visit the area. Actually, for me its probably best you are stuck in one place as I originally wanted to visit Chiang Mai for a few weeks but after watching all your videos I'm now upto a six week trip plan including all the southern places you've been. An idea for a quick video might be a trip to the Butterfly Farm on the island if you need ideas. Please stay healthy and safe. Any idea when you may be eligible for the vaccine in Thailand?

Paddy, you're overthinking this whole thing. The channel is not "Samui side quest", nor is it "Thailand motorbike tour". The channel and brand are YOU, Paddy Doyle. Just do you and be you, whatever and wherever that is. That's what we viewers are here for. Everyone understands the situation and limitations that you have right now. Not every video needs to be some amazing place or adventure. That's not realistic. Look at Harald Baldr. He gets tons of people to watch him get a haircut for 30 minutes. Don't overcomplicate it. Just be you and the subs will continue to grow. Edit: Damn. I wrote this comment before I got to 9:20. You nailed it yourself already. Take that chill pill. :)

Awww Paddy!! So sorry you felt this way during such an exciting time! I really hope you are feeling better and are able to concentrate as much as possible on a bright and fun career! There are so many of us out here that would love to do what you do because it creates so much freedom! Don't forget that freedom in the rush of it all as that is what people enjoy seeing most. It is so exciting when other's see other people living the dream and doing what they do and love best! You will be great!!! The budgeteers are still one of my favorite channels to watch and I am already addicted to the new adventures you will be ready to take on! 😁💝

Thanks for letting us know how you're doing. Even just some content for a while watching dogs or other pets or wild animals or birds do their thing is relaxing and enjoyable. A couple close-ups of flowers or plants or local geography makes me feel connected to where you are at at the moment. Awesome sunset view towards the end of the video.

Brilliant and simple, to quote Leonardo da Vinci "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication". I would love to see an episode of how the average Thai family is riding through this tourist crisis on Samui...

I watched this video from quarantine in Bangkok. It helped so much to feel like I was outside as I walked on my treadmill up that hill with you. Even added incline and speed then lowered it again when you got to the top😂 thanks for taking me on a walk today! It's always good to take a break Paddy, particularly now that everyone is on devices all the tome. Take care x

This ”about-not-so-much” content is so much better than caves and kayaks. But that’s just me. Hope you feel better … and you know what? It’s not about quantity. It’s about quality. Less is more.

Hi Paddy, Glad to hear you are ok and back on track Can you please do a video on how the locals are helping out the needy affected by the pandemic? Thais are well know for being charitable and it would be inspirational to see them at it. Take care ol'boy and keep at it!
