Anyone remembers when he started to become friendly? Was it already in dark den 2 or now in dark den 3? All i can remember of him from dark den 2 is that he was angry and hid way up in the top of the enclosure. Thought it might be because of his now more open and social enclosure maybe? Or the fact that he cannot catch prey with his tongue anymore, so he and Petko might have gotten a special bond because of it?

Haha lol due to ur videos I learned to handle those common wolfspiders (I guess they are called so). When I was a young boy, one of them scared the sh*t out of me, and I paniked each time I was too close to one. Today morning I found a big one, about 8-9cm legspan, in the sink in my bathroom. Normally I used to leave the room if I saw one of them, today I bravely took a catch cup, caught the beast and put it in the garden

Yay I like how you are showing clips of previous events going further than the suggestion I made initially to show clips of species you may be talking about but are not part of the video so we can learn and now be part (for people who maybe were not a viewer at the time) or be reminded of certain stages of what you are talking about. This is a great addition to the video editing. Thank you 🙂 What an amazing find by the way. So exciting after all that loss. Lovely yellow on her too

Thanks for the heart. I have been with you all the way since season 1 so it is awesome when one of your favourite KZbinrs implements a suggestion and hearts you for thanking them for listening. There are not a lot of channels that managed to keep my interest as I have with the dark den for so long. I joined probably half way in to the 1st season so I remember the chase of the T that ran across the floor on a rehouse video 🤣 I love Monday’s and Friday (and the Wednesdays when they were a thing) so I know just how massive your collection is and is why I keep asking for a full room tour because I hate the thought that one of the animals we don’t see often may pass away like that awesome spider that had the brilliant web castle recently 😞 so a full tour is a great way for both the new viewer, long term viewer (and yourself) to see every so often just how big the collection is and we can go back and use them as reference points of where you was on your journey and what animals were around at that time. Some new viewers probably have no idea just how big the collection is! It would be good for reminders and updates of everyone with the water bug’ assassin guys, Thor, Chips, Eight the snails, nymphs (oh been a while since we saw them and all their eggs 😉) who have been around a long time. I really should be a member by now. Could you please add subscribestar for people who would like to be part of the members. I would love to join if that was an option. Anyway love the videos thanks again.

Seeing your videos and the animals/bugs you have. Ever think about getting a salamander ? Where I live salamanders get to a fair size. Some are a foot long head to tip of tail and they eat the same bugs you feed your animals/bugs. It's best to keep a pool for them. They swim like crocodiles. When I owned one I had two plastic bins attached together with a pvc pipe. One was their home filled with dirt and the other was their swimming hole. They dig tunnels and hibernate. Keep soil damp and you won't see them for months. That could be just the ones I have where I live because we get winter.

it is not a question of whether it works or not, but a few factors must be met for a communal setup to work. first, you need to ensure that you give them enough food so that cannibalism does not occur. then the container must not be too large - it should be one nest because when tarantulas spread to other nests, they become territorial and eat each other. that's why some claims it works and others don't.
