Well done to all that entered the comp and and answered correctly! The first to answer correctly was @exploremoar, so he will take home the gold today. Second correct answer was received from @SilvaorGold, who will be taking home the nice gold ore rock sample. The correct quote was "A bad day prospecting is still better then a good day at work!". Thanks to all who tuned in and entered. 😁

Thank you for sharing your adventures and process set up, prospecting old timers digs is what I do but don't find as much Gold as what you're onto. You have shown us viewers how to take samples and what rock structure to sample and test. Thanks for the tips👍 Cheers Kev

Thanks heaps for tuning in and leaving a kind comment Biggest Kev! I really appreciate that. While the vast majority of samples I take are worthless, every once a while I do get onto some workable rock! Persistence is the key to hard rock success without a doubt 😁

Yes persistence is the key I totally agree, I'm going back to take some rock samples later this week I might be on to something, fingers crossed. Cheers Kev

I'm left wondering the same, it is a pretty remote one, quite some distance between available batteries for crushing if it fits into the time period I'm guessing, so that may have been the issue? I'm pleased about it anyway 😝

Hey Bryan, great video and great results. It will be interesting watching you pull 500 kg of ore out of that lead. Thanks for the warning about arsenic in the quartz fault, I will have to keep my eyes peeled if I get into hard rock. I'm thinking of just picking up quartz spoil that tickles the Gold Monster. Then I will have a reason to make some crushing machinery for myself. Good to see that Morgan was giving you and your Mrs Maximum Protection from any Dropbears that might have been guarding that mine lead. Mark from Melbourne Australia

Steel frame with an angled timber reciprocating shaker deck on it. It's roughly 1000 x 1600mm. Hung up a tarp over it all yesterday so I could continue sanding. I think I'm ready to re paint the deck now!

And a good day to you too mate Arsenic is an issue in the ore I have collected too. I was wondering if there‘s an analytical procedure one could use to check solutions for it - you know, like a stannous Cl test but for arsenic. Cheers mate, was happy to see you‘re out and about and the dog looked content. When the dog is asleep everything is fine.

@TheGoldmansChannel Жыл бұрын
Certainly does! I'm a big fan of being nice and close with the car now. I'm guessing at least 500kg to begin with, but who knows how it will look once I get in a bit further. Going to clean the floor up real good too just to ensure it doesn't hold gold any deeper also.

Im really impressed with your hard rock system u have,im just getting into doing hardrock samples. I have a bunch of float in the creek that i work here in N.C , i know that alot of the placer gold i get is leaching from the quartz rock and i have at least a couple veins that run across the creek so im gonna sample all the float that runs along the points where i know the viens are leaching into the creek.

Not yet, just letting them pile up for now. Once the shaker table is going I'll re run it all over that. Then install a finer ball mill screen and re crush the whole lot again to see what that reveals. Then I will smelt all the concentrates! Should be a great experiment

Thanks man! I've got a review vid on here for the little hand held crusher. It's called a "Cobbers Crusher" and is manufactured here in Australia. There are many other varieties available in other countries too though of course. I bloody love it. Essential tool in for the arsenal. A high output battery would be better than the little 5ah battery I currently use too. Makes a big difference even going to the 6ah high output milwaukee battery. 😁

I really like your videos. This is a difficult and dangerous job. Tell me, is there only ore gold in your area? By the way, in which country are you trying?
@TheGoldmansChannel Жыл бұрын
Thanks for tuning in and leaving a nice comment my friend! No it isn't just my area that has the auriferous reefs. These gold bearing reefs can be found in many many places across Australia, and in fact are of much better quality in other locations. Our area here is one of the more difficult ones to work due to the high concentration of other minerals in the ore.
