Those balls are more than likely micro glass beads, they are used in manufacturing the same way as as a sand blaster is used to like strip metal and wood but can be used to clean metal. I worked in a line before and we used them to give the shells of metal components a really shiny look, they're very very small and are really gritty in texture quite similar to wet sand....they could've got into the product if the vats were cleaned by blasting them with micro glass beads, but they are extremely dangerous and if inhaled or swallowed can cause severe respiratory problems and need to be completely washed off before continuing with production. Were I worked contamination by these beads was halting production as they were getting stuck into crevasses of metal components, but the thing is we halted the process of bead blasting until we could solve the issue as they are extremely dangerous and even if they did not harm someone anything that's not supposed to be in a product that is found on the product upon inspection is immediately scrapped, and the issue is found and delt with accordingly. I don't know why no one has sued her yet. Her products are not as described as they contain substances not listed on the ingredients, regardless if they are harmful or not, they should not have been sold. This issue is far more serious than a lot of people realize.

If they were actually using cotton gloves during production, and that wasn’t a lie from Jaclyn which is totally possible, then that is HIGHLY unsanitary. Cotton can be a breeding ground for bacteria and mold because it traps in moisture and the sweat from the worker’s hands can seep through the cotton and onto the product. Here is something even nastier for the stans and maybe a wakeup call.....Many times in facilities (even clean ones, dirty ones are worse) like these you will find that either mice or rats will fall into the vats and get ground up, it happens in food processing as well.
