Usually I find myself as a plus sized woman with so few options compared to the straight sizes. I know things can translate different on camera and you guys can actually feel it so I trust when you guys say it's not good, then it's not good. I find that a lot of asian groups have more petite, skinny women, but imo my ethnic group is not typically like that. My sisters and I are all thicker in certain places, but we're also like, super short, lol. The one thing asians have in common, unless you happen to be tall, is that we're average height or short.

I googled it and the French section of the shirt is taken from a 'vintage French newspaper' stock print. It's not actually gibberish or fake French! You can zoom in on it on Google. It says "Demandez partout un Bondunet - vin au quinquina" = "Order a Bondunet everywhere - quinquina tonic wine" and then underneath there's adverts for miracle cures for eczema (pommade = ointment) and diabetes (tisane = herbal tea)!

I don't know how it would be for Australia, but shipping from Torrid to Canada is no less than $20 (Even though they have stores in the country). Plus you add the exchange rate and it becomes super expensive. The Canadian dollar is actually stronger than the Australian dollar at the moment, so if I were to buy a $60USD sweater I'd be paying close to $100CAD she would still be paying more than me.

I never bought any clothes online in my whole life until I tried SHEIN a few weeks ago. I bought only stuff that already was on sale for less than 5€, with free shipping and an additional 20% off. I got 6 shirts, a cardigan and a dress for less than 35€! I’m a student and only work a temp job on the side so I can’t really afford anything more expensive... Make sure to read the reviews and stick to the size chart they have for every single item, then everything should fit you. I only had to give one shirt to my sister because it didn’t have any stretch at all, so it was a bit tight for my liking but I didn’t want to go through the refund process for a 4€ shirt 🙈. Also the quality on most of the items was better than I expected, especially on two of the white shirts that are less see-through than most white shirts I own

I ordered there 1 or 2 years ago (when everyone was suddenly doing Shein reviews, obviously sponsored). Looks like they haven't improved at all, going by this video. comparing the picture to what they got, the first plus size dress looks nothing like the photo already. Material and fit are crappy and weird. They delete negative reviews and items change often, so at my time of ordering it was hard to find anything with reviews at all. Maybe that's better now? Out of 3 items I ordered, none looked like the picture and it was super hit or miss, I never ordered again. One item (a summer dress) actually feels nice and is wearable, although tighter than listed and has a little too much cleavage, but that's fixable with a safety pin. Second dress is a completely different material and fit. Was supposed to be a cotton dress with a skater-style fit in the skirt. Ended up being a super thick, off-looking polyester and the skirt part fits like a pencil skirt. It's still wearable, I guess, just not what I ordered.. Last one was a blouse. Different material, completely see-through and already falling apart at the buttons when I took it out. More than a month delivery time to europe. I personally wouldn't order again, there are a lot better cheap alternatives here.

@@soulg5846 I ordered 2, 3 months ago 3 dresses, I size up 2 times and it still was tight. And quality is extremely horrible. And I paid a lot, like $50 or more. I swear, I can buy for $15 a 100% silk dress on sale in high street shops, so Shein can burn they stuff(sorry, not sorry).

Wow, so crazy how different experiences can be! Shipping to Germany took between 5 and 10 days (only one parcel shipped from China, the rest was in a warehouse in Belgium). And I don’t go by their own pictures, I read the reviews thoroughly and only go by customers‘ pictures, to see how the stuff truly looks. Deciding on a shirt and size takes me a good 10-15 minutes, no hasty decisions. Has worked with every item so far, and I just bought two jumpers, let’s see how they will be. And as I said, I only buy the stuff on sale that’s super cheap so I don’t know about their regular prices 🙈 but I do that in every store, I hardly ever buy anything that’s not at least 50% off (I’m broke so for me it’s unfortunately quantity over quality, as long as I look good it the items)

@@Panzerspatzi I don't think Shein have full price items. :D But honestly, going to shops and actually seeing items is the best option. Shein is not the first one who scammed me online. Good luck!
