Super insecure people often convince themselves they know how to spot who will reject them. When people like her randomly label somebody judgemental based on nothing what that really means is they are remembering people who have rejected them and trying irrationally to make comparisons and get ahead of more rejection. "That makes sense" was her thinking about what she's most used to being rejected for (which is probably her body in her mind), deciding that had to be the reason again and then trying to convey to everyone that she was on to him. Basically saying "Yeah, I thought so."
