i think they dropped in multiple child pairs in the background so everyone can go around scrambling assuming they're nico & bianca. this way, they also dont have to settle on the actual future actors for them if there's multiple red herrings. that said, the VR headsets covering the faces are kinda genius and make a lot of sense

Nice to see some possible easter eggs that could be Bianca and Nico De Angelo, Hades' demigod children. It is interesting that Hades is the only member of the big 3 who honored the pact, while Zeus and Poseidon both broke the pact. It honestly makes sense for Zeus to break the pact because he has shown consistently that he can't control his lust for women, and he probably puts himself above his brothers, the pact, and everything else.

A problem I see with the Lotus Casino in the show is people forgetting each other and not just the time. Grover needed quite some time to remember his friends after being there half a week (and we honestly don't know yet, if he regained all of his memories by the end of the episode). So imagine how it would be after living there for about 70 years...

I didn't spot what you spotted. I think I was focusing too hard on spotting Nico and Bianca in the Lotus Casino. I only noticed the kids that walked by the entrance. I thought they could've been the siblings. Although now that you pointed it out that they're in the background and playing VR would make more sense. Bianca is using a quiver and bow and Nico is much younger. The actors for Nico and Bianca haven't been cast yet so their faces would be covered which was done in a clever way.

What I thought while watching the episode yesterday was that it was the two kids who walked by the entrance as Percy and Annabeth were in the process of leaving only to remember Grover that they’d split up with Grover and that he was somewhere in the casino. It felt very subtle and I immediately perked up and each time I rewinded the seconds, they really looked like siblings. This (if those are meant to be the Di Angelo siblings) would be perfect also because we don’t really see them fully, so this could allow the creators to cast them or other actors later on in the series (which seems more realistic). I did love your theory. 🙌🏽

Nico is incredibly fascinating and I won't say why for avoiding spoilers. I will correct you on something- Hades was the only one loyal to the oath. Zeus had Thalia and Poseidon had Percy & Tyson (yes I know what he is, but he was born after the oath so it counts in my eyes). Nico and Bianca Di Angelo were born long before the oath, between 1930-1932 estimated.

I didn't watch the tv series, and i just read the books year ago. personally i don't know much about the tv series, but the books plot is absolutely amazing. But nico is one of the charaters with the saddest backstory. Also, some people hate nico and will's ship because they are gay. i didn't like gays much before, but after the books, i definately love solangelo. i hope you cover more about nico since he is one of the most interesting characters in the books!

Idk if you've seen it but it was a car that had the date of when Nico and Bianca got trapped, it was a chevy coupe black car in the garage in the episode. Rick also wrote he thought they had a scene with Bianca cheering "nico nico" as Nico became mythomagic champion, but they must have cut that or they changed it to "bianca bianca" of nico being happy he won in that VR mythomagic game as you said and maybe became a champoin there. And the "bianca bianca" is confirmed easter egg, not sure about the kids but it's odd that girl did the bow and arrow thing, feels like an easter egg.

Yes I know it’s not a dress. But honestly, considering that Bianca had to take care of Nico from an early age, I wouldn’t be surprised if she would have naturally gravitated towards fashion that was considered more “boyish” for the 1940s/30s (I.e, a jumpsuit). Maybe it was more useful for her environment (carrying cash, i.d, ect), she might not have wanted a purse, she was probably running around a lot, skirts can get in the way.

Marie di Angelo wasn’t in the same room as Hades and the kids when Zeus blasted the hotel with his master bolt. Hades Nico and Bianca were in another room separate from where the di Angelos were staying and Marie left to get her purse so Hades can take them to the lotus casino where they be safe as Marie refuse to raise Nico and Bianca in the underworld but didn’t want to be separated from her kids as she felt they need their mother. That is when Zeus fired his bolt at them. That’s why Hades couldn’t protect her as it was her or the kids. Not only I read the books, but I also posted two fanfiction rewrites of the book series and a Naruto/Percy Jackson crossover, all three of which is pass the Last Olympian where it is revealed what happened to Marie di Angelo, so I’m very familiar with the di Angelo kids’ backstory of how they ended up in the Lotus Casino Also Zeus gave Hades and probably Poseidon to turn in any kids they already fathered to Camp Half blood so they can be as Hades said ‘properly trained’ which Hades understood as his kids being turned against him and be certain not to reach 16. And what made the di Angelo kids special wasn’t that they were Hades’ only kids under sixteen but that the Oracle at the time not mummified warned that the di Angelo kids (or at least one of them) will have a roll in the prophecy of the big three which would make Zeus extra paranoid with the idea of keeping Nico and Bianca alive I think any children of Zeus and Poseidon over the age of sixteen were safe from Zeus’ paranoia about the prophecy as Winston Churchill who Riordan made Poseidon’s son lived for about 20 more years after WWII ended in Japan in 1965. I can’t say the same for Hades kids over sixteen since it was his kids leading the axis powers and his kid that caused the holocaust (*Cough* Hitler *cough*). Then again Stalin was one of the leaders that contribute to WWII and I do my see any indicators of him being a demigod or who was his divine parent and Stalin was known for holding grudges which is a fatal flaw of most children of the Underworld. He didn’t live as long as Churchill after the war but he did survive eight more years after the war.

I think Bianca is the one with the VR headset that was pulling the bow and arrow movement, however, I don't think the boy next to her was Nico. While the two are far back in the background, Nico's voice sounds like he was shouting, calling for her sister in a far distance. If the two were so close to each other, I don't think that Nico would need to shout that loudly to the point we could hear slightly hear it through the conversation and the backgrund music.
