I got stupidly lucky catching rare fish and made money to upgrade my fishing powers. Sharks are quite profitable and helped me catch some of the bigger fish. There is something about fishing as a cat that really raises the blood pressure.

I always liked this game. It is really relaxing, and all the upgrades make the game a lot better to play over time. Although I would recommend looking up a wiki for the hats. for example I saw you pass what was called the Tinkerer, which makes some rod upgrades free.
